Sorry SOM, this was written a while back, I think a few months ago. The papers where indicating that he was willing to change the name, everything had to be done for EU entry... blah blah I cannot remember if he was quoted on saying this so I still have a bit of hope for him, however his close relationship with a traitor is a very dangerous position for a President to be with, at the moment I agree with Jankovska.Volk, do you have any other articles and/or sources to corroborate what Bratot and yourself are saying, this doesn't look like good news at all.
Jankovska wasn't Boskovski head of MVR, he was in charge of the Lavovi, not defence, it was Buckovski. He was our main fighting spirit at the time so he deserves some credit.Makedonija vo SrceComment

Not good news at all. If you come across anything with regard to his relationship with that bearded predavnik or his apparent soft stance towards the Macedonian dispute with Greece, be sure to post it here.
These statements go completely against what I have come to know about the man, so for me personally I would need to see some concrete evidence to be fully convinced. Having said that, I value all of your opinions and Volk we have known each other on these boards for years, for you guys to be saying this there must be something happening here. I haven't been keeping up to date with things but plan to read on it a bit over the weekend. I probably will be in Macedonia for the elections (somehow I am always there for this things) and honestly I think I need something huge to make me re-think voting for Ljube. For now I am not really keen on him.Comment

I will suport Đorđ,no doubt,he is the one and he is fighter for Macedonian truth,which he proved many times,but people in homeland are to much efected by VMRO and SDSM,so he probebly wouldnt give him a chance,but what is to be done,more peoples from dispora should be there,so Atanasovski would be perfect for president,like Trajkovski was,and like Stavrevski is right hend of Grujo,also look Zafirovski,see for that i will tray to convince more people for Đorđ.

Georgija Atanasoski is the one who donated the statue of Alexander the Great to his home town of Prilep.
He tried running as an independent Presidential candidate once upon a time (1994), but he unfortunately didn't get the required amount of signatures in time.
Before that, he was one of the founders of the World Macedonian Congress and was elected President of its' North American chapter in 1992.
From 1996, he is the founder and President of the political party "Makedonska Alijansa" (Macedonian Alliance).Comment

I am not posting much like i used to do in the days back, but that doesn't mean that i don't scan through this forum and maknews.
I am posting this message, to notify everyone and especially SoM... Anyone who beliefs in Ljube Boskovski.
To clarify, i held a lot of faith praising for his return as a Macedonian leader, but upon his release, he is nothing but a bitter disapointment for Macedonia.
I judge but his statements, which he repeats all over again on every of his interviews.
What he says is:
#1 He is no enemy of Albanians, he was just fighting to protect the integrity of the Macedonian state and merely bla bla.
He has become a total coward since he is back. Does he forget who exiled, killed and raped the Macedonians from Tetovo and Tetovsko. He himself is from Tearce, a village from the Polog region.
#2 He has been talking for a name change - "I took the 'glory' to go to jail, this government will take the 'glory' to change the name".
A name change? Oh i believed none of u here wanted that? European values my ass.
#3 He was kinda aggressive towards VMRO when he came. He also said that VMRO should change its name and leave the name for the people. Now, seeing that his popularity has fallen a little, he relies to become a VMRO candidate. WTF?
He was the patriot we all wanted to lead Macedonia, but what became with him? Another 'wise' politician, like everyone else?
