The crisis faced by the USA today is much the same one She faced in Abraham Lincoln's day.

From the above quote we can see that even President Lincoln could see the potential rise of large corporations and the Federal Reserve usurping the wealth and power of the people and the Republic to the ultimate demise of both. Many say the Civil War, and his assassination, were all about freeing the slaves, but this view is only partially right as it ignores the economic model which the Founding Fathers establish, and which Lincoln wanted to restore by dismantling the Private Federal Reserve.
Today we can see exactly what he feared, namely that the power of the Federal Reserve, half a dozen mega banks and a few very large corporations via subsidiary companies, so they appear to be many companies, owning and controlling just about everything.
We can see from the above that the 'war' with the Federal Reserve/'Elite'/NWO has been a very old and long war. There has been much said on this 'war' but all too often those who spoke up were silenced or labeled 'conspiracy kooks'. Lincoln was one of them. Even Kennedy spoke up against the "dangers of secret societies" and wanted to dismantle the Federal Reserve and he met with an assassin's bullet. The 'Elite'/NWO is real. If you don't believe it, do some research and prove it to yourself.
Presidents and even the Pope have called for a NWO. You are probably thinking,"Ok, I've heard of the term NWO, so what do these 'Eleit' want - money? power? rule the world? all of the above? Why should I care - there's always been rules and 'someone' has to rule - so what if 'they' rule? They haven't/wont come out and directly tell you what they are going to do, but they do say a lot about things that they like, and I think you would agree, that usually what people like, is usually what they want to do.
Neit Gindgrich is one of the 'Elite' and wrote the forward to a book by Alvin and Heidi Toffler, "Creating a New Civilisation: The Politics of the Third Wave".
From this we can glimps at what they like, and probably want.
The book talks about the 3 waves of structures of society to ultimately their ideal model.
1. Nationalism.
From the 'rag tag' of tribal war-lords to the first wave, Nationalism. This is a reality - we do have many tribes, or groups who were forced into one nation, then another and so on, and then the people were made to feel proud of being X eg we are all Yugoslavs or we are all Italians, Germans, ect. Nations then competed against one another.
2. Globalisation of Business and Finance.
Some of you may remember the decimation of large section of the Australian manufacturing sector and 'jobs going overseas'. Businesses moved from being a national company to a world company without borders and allegiances, to any one nation eg "How could a leading national brand move all the jobs to China after all the support the public gave them", or when all of the major beer brands in Australia were sold off to foreign interests, "Who cares, as long as it tastes the same". This process was repeated in all industrialised nations.
3. The Removal of National Sovereignty and the Globalisation of Government ie NWO
To a large extent the globalisation of businesses is complete and many people now see themselves as 'citizens of the world' happy to go a live and work in foreign countries for companies spanning the world. Is not the EU about being a citizen of Europe with one European government. The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) is the North American equivalent of the early free trade agreement of Europe. The African Union is that continent's equivalent (a bit'1984'ish). The ultimate goal is to then merge to one world government with one law/court system, ect. All through this process individual nations sovereignty is eroded and then destroyed eg just look at Greece and Italy. Today you basically are and X (eg Australian) citizen of Macedonian ethnicity, while later you become citizen of The World of a Macedonian ethnicity, and even later, as people move, mix and inter-marry, you become just a citizen of The World under One World Government, except, now the 'Elite' own just about everything and you are forever in their servitude living a very closely mico-managed life (even how many kids you can have) for the 'good of the Planet' paying taxes to them in perpetuity.
Is it far fetched? Just look at what is happening right now and extrapolate it further. Their intentions are made plain in books like this one, and Eugenics books and Climate Control/Population Control/Resource Control conferences. There is way to go to get there, but then look back to Abraham Lincoln's quote and then realise how long it has already been going for.
But if we remember another of Abraham Lincoln's quotes,

we can urge the USA citizens to exercise their right to vote and elect Ron Paul (I think, another like Lincoln, Jackson, Garfield, Kennedy, et al) and wrestle back State ownership of the Federal Reserve and defeat the Globalist 'Elite'. BLUFFTON, S.C. -- Texas Gov. Rick Perry plans to announce an end to his presidential campaign Thursday, Yahoo News has confirmed.
The announcement was first reported by CNN.
Perry will make the announcement at a press conference in Charleston, South Carolina at 11 a.m. and will endorse former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Politico reports.
Perry, who was at the top of the polls when he first announced his candidacy last summer, placed a disappointing fifth in the Iowa caucuses and sixth in the New Hampshire primaries with less than one percent of the vote.

Judge denies lawsuit, Rick Perry, others remain off Virginia Republican primary ballot

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Federal District Court Judge John Gibney ruled against Texas Governor Rick Perry and other Republican presidential candidates who sued in an effort to appear on the ballot for the Virginia Republican primary in March.
"In essense, they played the game, lost, and then complained that the rules were unfair," wrote Judge Gibney in his opinion released Friday afternoon in Richmond, Virginia.
The suit was originally filed by Texas Governor Rick Perry.
Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, and Jon Hunstman later joined the challenge.
According to documents, the candidates asked the Court for a preliminary injunction ordering that they be listed on the ballot for the Virginia Republican primary despite the fact all failed to meet the 10,000 signature petition requirements to get on the ballot.
Only candidates Mitt Romney and Ron Paul met the requirements.
