Isn't this just the opposite spectrum of propaganda to that of; it was Gruevski who faked it? Why cant it just be the simplest explanation which is that there are crazy Albanians who know no other way than violence, they so an opening and they took it.

Does anyone force them to go fight with ISIS in Iraq and Syria, probably the craziest ban of lunatics the earth has seen in decades. The simple explanation is that there are extremist elements within the Albanian populace in the Balkans, and because of past support from the west they are emboldened and think the west is always willing to listen every time they throw a tantrum. The Albanian population is stuck with their victim mentality, there were hundreds of radical Albanians who went to fight in the middle east. What did anyone expect to happen once these people came back to the Balkans? Macedonia's population is divided as ever, the government is as weak as ever, if I were a terrorist this is when I would make my move. With a little luck they might get something from all this. It doesn't always have to be these grand conspiracy theories. I'm shocked that people think its so easy to control other people on a massive scale like this. Many extremist Albanians are just down right crazy, end of story. Because the west is lazy and ignorant you get lots of misinformation in western media. Trust me the worlds forces did not band together to pick on 1.5 million people in a land locked hole in the earth.

Its a sign worse things are to come for macedonia.

Today we have Western backed color revolution underway in macedonia, organized by NGO's (George Soros etc) and new media that popped up very recently. Government in fighting, leaders who have ties to macedonia's neighbours, meddling from other countries (release of those recordings), Now this terrorist attack out of nowhere.

I am convinced this is set up by the west (mainly USA) top stop the russian pipeline. They pressured Bulgaria into caving into their demands and that stopped the other pipeline, this time they are going harder on macedonia (because of shiptar help and sell out politicians like Zaev).

Yet today, even on this lovely forum, we have macedonians who have some strange wild admiration to america and even its foreign policies, which are against macedonian integrity. I wonder what these people are thinking now? What is going through their confused minds? Maybe they are just cucks pure and simple.

BBS in the US the two political parties are always on the opposite sides of every issue, does that mean they are all traitors? Sometimes for sheer opposition they are opposed to ridiculous things. For example Democrats want equal pay for equal work for women, Republics are against just to be against, even though it makes them look like a bunch of sexist idiots. How can you be in opposition to the ruling party if you agree with them?

        The Failed Color Revolution

This wasn’t supposed to happen, at least not if the US had gotten its way in Macedonia last month. Understanding that it’s the crucial bottleneck through which Balkan Stream must run, Washington wanted to stage a coup in the country in order to install a new leader that would reject the project and put an end to the region’s plans for reliable energy transit. Nikola Gruevski, the Prime Minister of Macedonia, had earlier broke ranks with his EU partners by refusing to sanction Russia, in a show of rebellion that the US felt it had to absolutely put down. For the few past couple of years, it had contracted the services of former intelligence chief Zoran Verushevsky in order to illegally wiretap over 20,000 people in the tiny country of 2 million, including politicians, journalists, and regular citizens. When it became clear at the end of last summer that South Stream was being stonewalled by Bulgaria and a new route would likely have to be streamlined (which geography dictates would obviously have to go through Macedonia), it activated its intelligence cell in order to preempt these plans, just in case they would go forward sometime in the future.

Zoran Zaev, the leader of the opposition, was given copies of these illegal tapes in order to blackmail the government, which he attempted to do from September to November. When Gruevski refused to give in to the blackmail, Zaev threatened to go public with the wiretaps and accuse the government of carrying them out, alleging that they also contained embarrassing political information and insinuating that this would lead to a Color Revolution. At the end of January, the Macedonian security services finally arrested Verushevky and a few other conspirators for plotting a coup, and Zaev had his passport taken to prevent him from fleeing while the investigation was ongoing. Verushevsky’s son even attempted to destroy his father’s computer before police stopped him, yet authorities were able to access the salvaged hard drive and recover Skype conversations where Verushevky and another plotter even spoke of starting a civil war in the country as a result of the blackmail ‘revelations’.

While Zaev attempted to create an actual Color Revolution last month by encouraging people to amass in the streets and protest the government, he failed to garner a consistent and sizeable following, showing that most Macedonians saw through the gimmick for what it was — a Ukrainian-styled soft coup attempt. Taking matters further, both Albanian parties in the country (whose affiliates are estimated to possibly constitute a quarter of the population) loudly distanced themselves from Zaev, thereby diminishing the prospects of a return to the 2001 interethnic violence that rocked the country and could have set the stage for the civil war that the conspirators previously discussed. Russia evidently feels that the combination of government action, Albanian loyalty, and popular support has finally stabilized the situation, since it would not have gone forward with the pipeline’s construction through Macedonia had it thought that it could be endangered by the Color Revolution attempt. Accordingly, one can interpret this as Moscow’s recognition that Washington’s plot ultimately failed.

The Obama administration interventionists, content in the knowledge that they have, at least, another year-and-a-half remaining in power, have decided to resort to extreme ethnic-based Balkanization to throw up a road block to the Russian «Turkish Stream» pipeline that is to bring natural gas from Russia through Turkey and into Greece, Macedonia, Serbia, and Hungary. The Obama administration has set about to foment another «color revolution», this time in Macedonia.

The strategy of the Obama/George Soros interventionists is to bury the Macedonian government of Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski with unfounded charges that it engaged in massive wiretapping of some 20,000 Macedonians, including leaders of the opposition. The source of the transcripts of intercepted communications of Macedonian citizens allegedly came from the former chief of the Macedonian intelligence service, Zoran Verushevsky, who may have had assistance in collecting the wiretaps from his friends in British, German, and U.S. intelligence. The intercepts have been used by Social Democratic opposition leader Zoran Zaev, a favorite of the Soros network and the U.S., to hammer Gruevski for allegedly eavesdropping on the opposition. Somehow, Zaev gained possession of copies of the intercepts, which he then used to attack the government.

Although 20,000 targeted individuals seems like an excessive amount of intercepted communications and not within the capability of Macedonian intelligence, such a task is certainly within the grasp of the National Security Agency (NSA) and its FIVE EYES alliance. A well-publicized report from Germany that the German «Bundesnachrictendienst» (Federal Intelligence Service) agreed to eavesdrop on 800,000 European citizens on behalf of the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) indicates that 20,000 Macedonians being targeted by the NSA and BND, with the recordings of voice communications possibly being provided to Zaev and his associates in Skopje, was well-within the capability of the American and German eavesdroppers. The NSA sent the BND a large number of «selectors,» that is, email addresses, Internet Protocol (IPO) addresses, mobile phone numbers, and various other identifying data, on hundreds of thousands of European politicians, business leaders, engineers, and others. NSA systems, including PRISM, PRINTAURA, and UPSTREAM, are used to «select» particular communications of interest to NSA and allied signals intelligence analysts.

The collection of phone calls and emails of Macedonians based on NSA «selectors» could have easily amassed 20,000 intercepts by the BND in Pullach, Germany and NSA in Fort Meade, Maryland. If NSA intercepts were provided in sanitized format to Zaev and his loyalists, it would represent a new tactic by the U.S. Intelligence Community: the provision of metadata to blackmail sitting elected governments.

The U.S. and Soros Balkans destabilization strategy has also seen the rise of Albanian nationalist irredentism along the fragile Kosovo-Albanian border with a recent attack on a Macedonian police border post at Gošince by 40 armed men wearing the insignia of the outlawed Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). That action came at the same time that Kosovo's Foreign Minister, Hashim Thaci, the former leader of the KLA, defied threats by Serbian authorities to arrest him on a 1997 conviction on terrorism if he visited Belgrade to attend a George Soros-funded NGO conference sponsored by «NGO Youth Education Committee». The April 24 conference, designed to counter growing Serbian-Macedonian cooperation in the face of Western pressure, was, unsurprisingly, titled «European integration of the Western Balkans – together we can do better». The foreign ministers of Serbia, Macedonia, and Bosnia-Herzegovina, in addition to Thaci, were invited to attend the conference. An arrest of the Kosovo foreign minister, which the invitation to Belgrade was meant to trigger, could have set the stage for another NATO/EU confrontation with Serbia, a critical partner in not only the Turkish Stream pipeline but the Chinese-funded Balkans railway part of the Silk Road project that will link the Greek port of Piraeus to Budapest through Macedonia and Serbia. The «NGO Youth Education Committee,» in withdrawing Thaci’s invitation, cited «pressure and threats» from the Serbian government as the reason. The group mentioned nothing about Thaci’s terrorism conviction.

The attack by the restored KLA on the Macedonian border post, where Macedonian police officers were briefly held hostage before the Albanian raiders returned to Kosovo, could not have been possible without the knowledge of Kosovo's military protector, NATO, which operates its largest military base in Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo. In 2001, when KLA forces, allied with Macedonian Albanian nationalists, fought Macedonian forces in the town of Aračinovo, Macedonia, forces of the U.S. private military firm, Military Professional Resources, Inc. (MPRI) were involved with both sides. The Ochrid Agreements saw Macedonia grant generous autonomy rights to its Albanian population in an effort to keep the violence that wracked Kosovo and Bosnia from spilling over into generally peaceful Macedonia. The attempt by the Soros network to foment violence within the Albanian community is a clear attempt to pry away the Albanian party, the Democratic Union (DUI) led by Ali Ahmeti, from the six year-old VMRO-DPMNE-led coalition government led by Gruevski.

The U.S. ambassador to Macedonia, Jess Baily, has made waves in Skopje by publicly supporting the putsch being called for by former Social Democratic prime minister and president Branko Crvenkovski, a native of Sarajevo, Bosnia who has been at the forefront of calling on Macedonian youth and college students to hit the streets of Skopje to stage a color revolution against the democratically-elected government of Gruevski. If all this sounds familiar, it should. It was U.S. ambassador to Kiev Geoffrey Pyatt who, working with his boss, State Department European Affairs Assistant Secretary Victoria Nuland, who conspired with Ukrainian opposition leaders in late 2013 and early 2014 to organize the Euromaidan protest that eventually saw the democratically-elected Ukrainian president, Viktor Yanukovych, toppled from power and the subsequent outbreak of the Ukrainian civil war.

By stoking opposition desires for a similar color revolution in Macedonia, Baily is playing with fire by also fomenting problems by using Albanian nationalists. Such a combination would start a violent civil war that would rival that between Kiev and the Russian population of eastern Ukraine. Macedonian and Serbian Slavs pitted against Albanians in Macedonia, Kosovo, and Serbia's Sanjak region and Presovo Valley would not only bring another violent war to the Balkan Peninsula but would also spell the end of the Turkish Stream pipeline through the Balkans and the Chinese-financed rail link from Greece to Budapest. The Balkans would remain a NATO frontline war zone under the total domination of the United States and European Union. Two Albanian political leaders, Prime Minister Edi Rama and former Prime Minister Sali Berisha have spoken out in favor of a «Greater Albania», consisting of Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and parts of Greece. The message for the Balkans is clear: if it continues to entertain the Turkish Stream pipeline plans and the Chinese rail project, the Albanians will rise up and resort to civil war to protect NATO's and the EU's domination over the peninsula. The Albanians, it should be noted, were the most loyal people of the Balkans in providing support for Adolf Hitler's Third Reich.

After Verushevksy was arrested for being the source of the communications intercepts and Zaev was caught with his passport in hand while he was attempting to flee Macedonia, the Soros-financed color revolution teams switched strategies to foment problems with the country's large Albanian minority, representing a third of the population. Today, Macedonia teeters on the brink of renewed ethic violence, with Nuland and her gang of neo-conservative warmongers waiting anxiously for the beginning of a new Balkans body count.

I read somewhere that Zoran Zaev said that if was elected he would not allow the pipeline to be built. This maybe more macedonian gossip but if it is true then its pretty much all the proof you need to know Zaev is a slimy little sell out.
Like others have said, isnt it interesting that while macedonia is being attacked by terrorists instead of banding together for the greater good of the country Zaev continues to stir the pot and is planning some "protests"?

Zoran Zaev is corrupt, works with foreign agencies against the interests of the country, bribes, nepotism etc etc. They aren't even arresting him as to not make any unrest from the retards supporting Zaev much less kill him. Remember this is the guy that has been revealed to secretly deal with other countries on creating ways to change macedonia's flag, name etc. This is the party that protests with serbian turbo-folk music in the back ground while waving flags of serbia.

You have got to be fucking crazy if you support these clowns.

Anyway, if Macedonia is really became le police state how come phone tappings ended in government opposition's hands?
meanwhile.. for the 17th of May it has been planned a "huge" demonstration against the government.. another Maidan or color revolution that is being orchestrated by the USA and being implemented by their latest purchased whore - Zoran Zaev?

This all seems to me like a greater plan to destabilize macedonia, and its sell outs like Zaev and some idiotic drunken SDSM supporters that are unknowingly carrying out these plans.
I posted a link today that Nato was proud of themselves "helping" bring peace to Macedonia 2001, by installing the guerillas in parliament

            its beyond satire, joke.
And my first thought was with the "gunmen" , shades of 2001
Macedonia is being used as a tool , sovereignty, freedom, peace was never going to happen for her with the west domination

My cousin sent me this: Western Countries' Response:

Joint Statement by the Ambassadors of the United States, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, and the European Union

                May 11, 2015

On this day of mourning and on behalf of the United States, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, and the European Union, we expressed today our condolences to Prime Minister Gruevski and the people of Macedonia for the tragic deaths of the brave police officers who were killed yesterday in and around Kumanovo, and we shared our sympathies for the suffering of the citizens of Kumanovo who were caught up in the violence. We offered to assist in any way that we can.

We join with citizens throughout the country and political leaders in denouncing violence. We welcome the President’s initiative to meet with all political parties, and we appeal to citizens to continue exercising restraint in response to the weekend’s tragedy, as well as calm in any group assembly in the coming weeks.

As well as discussing the events in Kumanovo in our meeting today with Prime Minister Gruevski, we have also reconfirmed the friendship of the people of our countries and organization with the people of Macedonia. We have long supported Macedonia’s efforts to join the EU and NATO, and as friends and partners we have also expressed our concerns about the ongoing political crisis.

We have specifically reiterated our concerns to the Prime Minister that his government has not made progress towards accounting for the many allegations of government wrongdoing arising from the disclosures. This continued inaction casts serious doubt on the Government of Macedonia’s commitment to the democratic principles and values of the Euro-Atlantic community. Continued failure to demonstrate this commitment with concrete action will undermine Macedonia’s progress towards EU and NATO membership.

We have also expressed our expectation that in the case of disclosures that reveal clearly unacceptable behavior, appropriate political and legal measures are taken against those responsible. In order to address institutional weaknesses highlighted by the disclosures, we call on the government to consider specific reforms, including on the integrity of the electoral system, media freedom, independence of the judiciary, freedom of speech and whistle-blower protection.

Finally, we continue to fully support the fundamental democratic right of citizens to assemble and peacefully protest, and we reiterate our appeal to all sides to refrain from violence. The peaceful exercise of democratic rights and rejecting aggressive acts towards fellow citizens – whether police officers or demonstrators – is a fitting tribute to the courage and sacrifice of those who gave their lives in service to the people of Macedonia.

We will be meeting with Mr. Zaev and Mr. Ahmeti in the days ahead to share similar messages.

In every western country there is a huge "terraaaaaaaaa" alert , it is to create divisiness amonst their own people, to have fear and hatred for xxxxx group, whoever is the flavor of the month/year
Look over there moments are created, false flags, they very much use MACEDONIA's Tsar Phillip - Divide and conquer - motto and strategy with civilians

People are blinded to it, and this whole wire tapping scandal , as someone alluded to, was too intricate to be handled from within the country
So whilst democratic protests are done , civil peaceful ones, you get 70 heavily armed with military equipment go over another country's border

Think about this for a moment. That is highly unfeasible, unless borders were manned by primary school children....and we get the Kumanovo , what Reuters referred to today as UPRISING. FFS, how can anyone call insurgents from another country as doing an "uprising" in someone elses country , its a fckn joke

Macedonia is being used, plain and simple, shiptarite have been promised their greater albania, and this is all now strategic, calculating, extremely calculated to gain maximum advantage against Russia

One needs to go and have a look at the removal of the democratically elected president in the Ukraine and the unfolding events that transpired thereafter

As for that bastard group ISIS, go back and have a look at events, recent history. Saw photos on net of John Kerry warmly greeting unsavoury characters Middle East, it astounds me, and angers me, that Australia's prime minister is the biggest dense thick shit of brick brain to be such a dumb ass fckn war mongering tool, to get Australia involved there
Look at what the west has to gain if Macedonia falls.

All of this has ever been possible due to the incompetence and sheer idiotic stupidity of ego driven maniacs that should have united and worked as a coalition in Macedonia from the outset. Instability, does not aid a country, it dissolves it

if Zaev and Ahmeti had a pair of balls would tell them to get fucked and stay out of their countries affairs and look after their own pathetic country shooting black people for sport

                          but they dont
AHmeti will be given his deal of his greater albania dream
zaev will haev some gold coins thrown his way,

What surprised me is seeing a group of Albanians losing their shit at Ahmeti on you tube, telling him they want peace, whilst he blankly looks at them, they just wnat to live a peaceful life.

They are all pawns, nothing more, have been calling for fckn years on this forum, for consensus between the political parties in Macedonia for what is IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF MACEDONIA AND THE MACEDONIAN PEOPLE, to unite in all matters that are crucial for soveriegnty

and we chase the gold money tree of EU which has fckd over economies in Europe, and we chase entry into "nato" providing Macedonian soldiers as cannon fodder, under the guise of Nato, good enough to serve, but not good enough to recognise. Idiots

                          I look on Slovenia.
Wow, just wow. They planned, foresaw, had backup plans in place, then had back up plans on back up plans, to secede first, without a gunshot, from federation of Yugoslavia
Macedonia was the last country to "declare independence" by waving their flags around whoopeee, we did it.

Idiots, from the outset should have built a strong constitution, long term plans for building infrastructure up for emplyment, look at trading partners, and set themselves up , with a democratic and cohesive society.
Nope, you are the weakest link, goodbye.
And its the bastardry and the agendas in the political parties that has seen so much turmoil and made it a piece of cake for MAcedonia to be re partitioned now

Gruevski will be told what to do
if he doesnt keep playing the game for another 50 years of waiting to enter the gates of paradise EU , the govt will fall.

What role does the President of Macedonia have, does he have no jurisdiction to kick these parties political heads in and tell them to wake up , its a mess, Macedonia is drowning in shit

Zaev is against the pipeline, of course he is, it means $$$ for Macedonia to have it

people really need to stand back, take the emotion out of allegiances to corrupt bastardised political parties, and look at the big picture here, and exactly who is pulling the strings.

I'd like to add something to this discussion about why the Albanian populace in Macedonia (so far) has not supported what has happened in Macedonia. My thinking is that just as most Macedonians in Macedonia are convinced this was staged, so are the Albanians. I think they have not came out in support because they don't believe it has happened. Let the reality sink in a bit and I think we will see protests in support of the terrorists and complaints for the killing of innocent terrorists.

Its kind of funny that Albanians in Albania are rallying in support of UCK terrorists, and Albanians in Macedonia think it was fake.
