Its a Meander symbol not a SS symbol.
On a side note the swastika nor the hand salute is Nazi in orgin, but Im sure you know that.

The reason why he is so aggresive is because he had been completely slandered and disregarded by the media. The problem with Golden Dawn is that they need to work on their image. What is worse for me is the people that are in suits calling others fascists when it is they themselves that have been committing treason and selling out to the Germans the last two years. That is the ultimate hypocrisy in this political scene in Greece for the past 40 years.

I have no problem with gypsies or gypsy looking people but if they are presenting themselves as neo-nazi white supremacists, then things becomes absurd. This is the case with your Golden Dawn thugs.

Btw Abdullah Gul looks like an Armenian. He doesn't have a gypsy look but an Armenian one. When he was still active in the Erdogan`s party, few of his rivals was namecalling him about that.

I agree with him about some things he said. I myself was saying that the two monarchy families of Papandreu and Karamanlis (Pasok and ND) who rules Greece since 1974 are just puppets of the west, selling out their own country but this doesn't change the fact that Golden Dawn is a disgraceful bunch of ignorant thugs. So, nothing is valuable if it comes out from the mouth of that fat gypsy or from that death metal guy who claims to be white supremacists. The problem is not their image, it`s themselves.

Voltron, their symbol may be a meander symbol, just like the swastika is originally a hindu symbol. It's what they do with it and how they manipulate it that is alarming. They have copied the nazi colours and nazi flag formula, in a similar way that Greece copied/adpoted the East India trading company's flag and changed its colour.

Onur is right, it is not about image, it is about their filthy, ugly core. There is nothing wrong with having politicians with a backbone, standing up for the sovereignty of their country, however Fascism isn't the solution. After seeing how they've behaved with their own citizens of Macedonian descent, it is clear that their idea of a "good Greek citizen" is to be a fake.

With 26 seats won by the KKE in Greece, do you think there is any chance that nasijot narod in Egejska Makedonija might get some leniency?

I say that with reason on the basis that I've read articles on KKE in the past and its been clearly stated that they intend on making progress on the recognition of both the Macedonian minority and the Turks in Thrace!

Your right on the first part but that is common sense. For the past 40 years people have sidelined groups like GD for their "junta" style. They voted for democracy in the form of a socialist one. Where did that get us.

Then you say the people dont take responsibility, well for the past two years we did. We did it to stay on the EU path, we even had a technocrat government. We paid all our taxes even the new ones that were part of the reforms. Do you know that even though the people did their part for the last two years the government at the time Pasok and Papademos did not do their part ? They did not make the reforms they promised to the EU ? They did not go after the people they new money laundered outside of Greece ? They went after the easy targets, the young and retirees. So if a party comes up and says we wiill go after these pricks, well they got my vote.

Coolski, Along with the Meandor they have the Celtic Cross, sure their colors may indeed have some white pride connotations to it but again thats not a problem for me.
