    I really like the line

The fact that so quickly found this planet, said that there are probably many Earth-like planets , says scientist Steven Vogt .

now we just have to work on the engine to travel near the speed of light or that worm hole thing to get there.

Discovered planet with similar conditions as for life on Earth

Новооткриената планета е наречена Gliese 581g, слична е на планетата Земја и има услови за живот, тврдат научниците кои цели 11. години ја истражуваа и посматраа од опсерваторијата „WM Keck" на Хаваи.

Newfound planet is called Gliese 581g, is similar to the planet Earth and there are conditions for life, scientists claim that targets the 11th years investigating and observing from the observatory "WM Keck" of Hawaii.

Team of scientists announced they had found a planet the size of Earth, which orbits a star nearing and that probably there is water on the planet .

If this allegation is proved , the planet Gliese 581g would be considered most similar to our planet and will begin further research.

    - The fact that so quickly found this planet, said that there are probably many Earth-like planets , says scientist Steven Vogt .

The mass of the newly discovered planet Gliese 581g is three to four times larger than Earth , its orbital period is shorter than the 37th days.

The end of the world in 2012...who knows. Not just the usual reasons of who knows what will happen then but now it seems there was an error in calculating the coversion between the Mayan an todays calander by as much as 50 to 100 years but no one really knows…tick tock.

Destruction of the World postponed indefinitely

For those who believe in the apocalypse arrived in 2012 good or bad news. The good news is that the Mayan calendar may not be completed on December 21, 2012, which means that it will not ruin the world. The bad news for all who believe in prophecy is not known when the calendar is complete or already completed.

New Criticism of the ancient Maya is published as a chapter in the book "Calendars and years 2: Astronomy & time of old and middle age, in which the author claims that Gerrard Alda led to an error of 50 to 100 years in the calculation of the Mayan calendar in the modern calendar.

This means that long najavuvaniot end of the world in 2012 could be "a failed" for several decades and are now driven to doubt and dates of events in the history of Mayan writing LiveScience.com.

This "prophecy" appear when it is determined that after the Mayan calendar it is December 21, 2012 marks the end of the 500-year period, that some prokomentiraa kataklizmichka as a threat to the world.

Mayans have predicted the event before five millennia, and some experts believe the country will affect the range of disasters, hurricanes, earthquakes, devastating volcanic eruptions, moving north and south pole and other climate changes.

            End of the Earth Postponed

The conversion between Mayan and modern calendars may be off by a decade or ten. Oops.

It's a good news/bad news situation for believers in the 2012 Mayan apocalypse. The good news is that the Mayan "Long Count" calendar may not end on Dec. 21, 2012 (and, by extension, the world may not end along with it). The bad news for prophecy believers? If the calendar doesn't end in December 2012, no one knows when it actually will — or if it has already.

A new critique, published as a chapter in the new textbook "Calendars and Years II: Astronomy and Time in the Ancient and Medieval World" (Oxbow Books, 2010), argues that the accepted conversions of dates from Mayan to the modern calendar may be off by as much as 50 or 100 years. That would throw the supposed and overhyped 2012 apocalypse off by decades and cast into doubt the dates of historical Mayan events. (The doomsday worries are based on the fact that the Mayan calendar ends in 2012, much as our year ends on Dec. 31.)

The Mayan calendar was converted to today's Gregorian calendar using a calculation called the GMT constant, named for the last initials of three early Mayanist researchers. Much of the work emphasized dates recovered from colonial documents that were written in the Mayan language in the Latin alphabet, according to the chapter's author, Gerardo Aldana, University of California, Santa Barbara professor of Chicana and Chicano Studies.

Later, the GMT constant was bolstered by American linguist and anthropologist Floyd Lounsbury, who used data in the Dresden Codex Venus Table, a Mayan calendar and almanac that charts dates relative to the movements of Venus.

"He took the position that his work removed the last obstacle to fully accepting the GMT constant," Aldana said in a statement. "Others took his work even further, suggesting that he had proven the GMT constant to be correct."

But according to Aldana, Lounsbury's evidence is far from irrefutable.

"If the Venus Table cannot be used to prove the GMT as Lounsbury suggests, its acceptance depends on the reliability of the corroborating data," he said. That historical data, he said, is less reliable than the Table itself, causing the argument for the GMT constant to fall "like a stack of cards."

Aldana doesn't have any answers as to what the correct calendar conversion might be, preferring to focus on why the current interpretation may be wrong. Looks like end-of-the-world theorists may need to find another ancient calendar on which to pin their apocalyptic hopes.

No SoM I have not had any personal contact with alience.

Some have dismissed most claims of sightings by saying why is it always people who say they have seen ufos are country hicks in the position of a 6 pack or two.
To some extent I would agree with the critics. One can still be sceptical of ancient paintings on walls or caves and even the ancient stories out of India because man is a creative being and like today how writers can create great works of fiction it is not too hard to imagine people in the past having such abilities and we have all heard of people forging pictures and video clips of ufo to get their 15 minutes of fame but then there are some things which defy expiation. Some sightings have been during the day and in front of mass groups of unrelated people.

It make you think and its entertaining.

The more than 120 retired military personnel warn of "ongoing and alarming intervention by unidentified aerial flying objects as Nuclear Weapons Sites. Former Air Force officers held a News Conference today in Washington DC. RT Correspondent Cedric Moon explains that these retired air force members are claiming aliens are watching us and they want the government to acknowledge this does exist but that it's nothing to be alarmed about, actually quite the opposite.

No aliens have not probed me SoM. Care to share your experiences since you bring it up.

Even the Macedonian people in RoM consider me an alien…ie the Australian…and after doing some probing myself as aliens do I flew back in a flying machine to my home world of Terra Australis Incognita.
