Gees has everybody flipped. It is recently claimed that Regan started having Alzheimer’s while he was still in office hence in part the claims he was nuts and the other part was said to be largely because of his wife supposedly he allowed astrology to influence some of his actions.

Whether or not the claims are true does not detract from the point he was making in the video clip you presented...which is a fine point... and which I understood you also were trying to make with regards to Phoenix and myself.

How then is one to take the first part of your next post and reconcile it with your previous post. Did you just skip the tie in bit and you Do still think his point in the clip is valid but you think he is insane for other reasons or are you saying he is insane anyway in ageeance with Phoenix in which case why use him as an example to illustrate a point. From what you have written and how it is written it would be reasonable to understand it to mean the former although it seems one cannot assume anything these days when you vilify Regan by liken him to the devil or thoroughly insane based only on string theory and multiple universes theory.

By the way thank for bringing the string theory clips forward I have seen this before on tv but not recorded it. I probably should rummage through YouTube one day…in the 4th dimension time.hahaha

Of course i think what he was saying was valid,hypocritcal but valid.That doesnt mean i dont think he was insane....hell,even Manson has said things that sound reasonable.I believe Reagan was insane(like most of our leaders)for plenty of other reasons,his speech that day isnt one of them.

China has been cracking down on dissent of late, as the recent detainment of artist Ai Weiwei suggests.
But the latest guidance on television programming from the State Administration of Radio Film and Television in China borders on the surreal – or, rather, an attack against the surreal.

New guidelines issued on March 31 discourage plot lines that contain elements of "fantasy, time-travel, random compilations of mythical stories, bizarre plots, absurd techniques, even propagating feudal superstitions, fatalism and reincarnation, ambiguous moral lessons, and a lack of positive thinking."

“The government says … TV dramas shouldn’t have characters that travel back in time and rewrite history. They say this goes against Chinese heritage,” reports CNN’s Eunice Yoon. “They also say that myth, superstitions and reincarnation are all questionable.”

The Chinese censors seem to be especially sensitive these days. But for the television and film industry, such strictures would seem to eliminate any Chinese version of “Star Trek,” “The X-Files,” “Quantum Leap” or “Dr. Who.” And does that mean rebroadcast of huge Hollywood moneymakers like “Back to the Future” and the “Terminator” series are now forbidden?

Gee, talk about tough - no Terminator movies? - Ok, the 3rd one might make you want to do that.

But i saw similar story from Europe. This time, catholics says that Harry Potter corrupts christianity!!! Check this out;

Harry Potter books 'unacceptable’ because they encourage magic

A Catholic diocese in Poland has warned that the Harry Potter books are unacceptable because they encourage “instructions to practise magic”.

The letter from Gliwice diocese also warned that in the best-selling books the “dangerous world of magic is presented as good”, and preached about the dangers of Halloween and the ancient and pagan Polish traditions associated with St Andrew’s day when people try to predict the future.

“Teachers and parents should teach children to go the Lord Jesus if they have problems, and not seek help and answers from fortune telling,” continued the letter.

The letter is not the first time the Harry Potter series has fallen foul of the Catholic Church. In 2003 Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, now Pope Benedict XVI, wrote a letter to a critic of the books saying “they can corrupt the Christian faith”.

What they meant by saying "Go Lord Jesus if you have problems"??? They mean, they should go to church, to a statue of Jesus? But isn't it a bit too much personification for a statue which can be found in literally every church? I mean it represents Jesus but it`s not Jesus. Otherwise that would be like Buddhism or Hindu religion with Buddha, Shiva statues. I find that rather ironic while they are condemning pagan traditions but turning their own religion to just like paganism at the same time. Jesus is in heaven, so why one should go to one of his statues to pray to him, why not at home, or anywhere else? I think i`ll never be able to understand logic behind all this!

on you tube there is a professor describing how time travel is possible by using extremely powerfull lasers.They can stir up the fabric of time.The only problem is they can go into the future but not in the past but they say going into the past is possible as well.

It's all about control.

Onur, I would not say everything about the church is wrong, but if one looks at it objectively, the church is run by men and every man is wrong, hence it is not difficult (except for religious zealots) to realise that the church has done many wrong things - it's historical fact.

To cement their power, for centuries in the dark ages, the Church made it an act of heresy to own or posses a Bible (for God sake, it's the same Bible they use in Church) and burnt people at the stake. If you wanted to know anything about God or morality or had a moral problem, you were supposed to ask your priest for answers, and hence it creates a situation of dependency, subservience and spying (if you tell them your moral problem) - total control. Can you imagine, it's like the Imams killing a Muslim man simply for having a copy of the Quran? - it's insane! They try to suppress everything (including free thinking) except for "just go and pray", yet we know there exists things beyond just our 5 senses.

I know, even in Muslim lands, they used to kill witches (as it should be) but in Europe and even USA they carried it too far (for the sake of control) and even people who had simple things like herbal healing knowledge, could, and were, accused of being witches and burned at the stake.
