Every religion is ok in very very very VERY small doses. In my opinion they are all fucked and people who follow them (I mean really follow them) are fucked. So many wars and people have died in the name of some stupid religion and for what? No one says these people are true followers but if they believe they are who can stop them?
And stop making Christianity as a saint religion, is just as fucked. Remember the Crusades? How many people were killed, wars, fear in the name of Christ? The muslims today in the name of Alah? Religion should be banned and people following it blindly should be cut out of society.

You have all the right to think this way. I am a Christian and history does not do me any favours in trying to promote my faith to you.

Fact of the matter Jankovska is that ppl like you are really creating a society that is going to the crapper really fast. Take a look at the USA where ppl are offing themselves in proportional numbers and if that wasnt enough there is a trend lately to take out their own family members first in the process. We are increasingly living in a faithless society and to be honest I cannot see any improvement in humanity without religion. Its getting worst.

The Crusades wasnt a fight for Christianity no more than the fight in Iraq was for Democracy. Those were both pretexts to invade and pretexts will never change. That doesnt mean that we should now ban Democracy does it ?

Again, Islam was founded by violence. Christianity is not. These are the facts. Dont try to dump everything in the same basket.

I wasnt able to see the clip you posted TM regarding the protesters but I would imagine they are the same wackjobs that protest the dead soldiers at their funerals that were killed in Iraq or Afghanistan. But we are talking about a small splinter group that do not have any influence nor do they go out an murder ppl. Again this is not comprable to Islam. You try protesting at a "martyrs" funeral in Afghanistan and see if you dont end up waist deep in the ground with rocks being pelted at your head.

Having big brains packed with emotion and reason living with the ever present promise of death we have needed something to give us a sense of place in the World, Religion fits the bill nicely in the past/present, these days for many it's Science, Commercialism, Sports/Entertainment, Tribalism/Gangs

As far as who is Christian in the 'purest' meaning of the word, almost no one is, if your prepared to kill any Human for what ever reason, no matter how “justified” your not a Christian

It is becoming a decaying society and nothing close to how it was 20 years ago. One just needs to look at today's generation to see how it really is.
