But lets get clear on what we mean by "Recover". Does this mean Greece will recover to a level anywhere near the situation they were at prior to the EU entry? I think not. Why, because they are not hardened people. They have been fed with a silver spoon and used to it for a long long time. The only ones that will not feel the effects might be the poor villagers mainly around the Lerin region who have been neglected by the government and are used to self supporting them selves. Its business as usual for them.
So if we think jumping out of a Mercedes (previously), walking (currently), then having to settle with a mule (future), is a acceptable form of recovery, then i guess you can call it recover. But i don't know how those fluffy dice would look on a donkey. And where would one put the other ass (the mother in law).
