It's not far from the truth. Back during the 'muzza' phase a lot of them spoke like that. Lebos are the worst when it comes to this. Instead of 'man' or 'bro,' it's all of a sudden 'uleh' with a lil bit of 'wallah.'
The main 'ethnic' speech I use is the phrase 'youse' when referring to multiple people. No idea why so many people hate it, it's probably the most useful word out there haha.
I don't know where in Australia you're from BBS but I reckon there's a generation of young Macedonian's in parts of Melbourne who speak a brand of 'English' that's actually worse than their parents...

Perun, with your attitude and if you are from Macedonia, then you are very welcome here. I would love to see another 1.6 million more like you in Macedonia.
Perun, welcome.
BBS is neither. He is just being sarcastic and quite funny about it.
But I understand why someone might think this if they are unaware of a forum contributor's history.
Ah, I see. My bad. Should've looked around first...
Again, BBS, sorry for my quick tongue.
Risto, thank you for the welcome. I am glad to be here.
