The thing is, i am not against any unification ideas. Balkan people should think about the things which unites them, not the ones which separates them. When you think about Greeks, Macedonians, Albanians, Bosnians, Bulgarians etc., do you really think these people are so different and alien to each other? Definitely not. I can even add Turkey to this group too since according to the official statistics, there are 35 million people in Turkey who either himself, his parents or grandparents came from Balkans over the period of recent 100 years.

The thing with Serbians is, they just want the lands, not the people who owns it and lives on it. They just wanna enlarge their territory by eradicating Bosnians and maybe others too.

Balkans are already consists of many little groups and as long as it stays like that, there will be confusions, every time. Imho, Balkan countries need to form some kind of alliance of their own to prevent further escalation. I believe this is the only way to create a strong force here as well, without being a vassal of the western Europeans to work for them in EU just to clean their dump and wipe their asses.

Sadly, this seems like a dream anymore. "Dark hands" implanted seeds of hate into the hearts of Balkan people and it seems like impossible to live together anymore for some people. It`s sad but true, unfortunately.

Onur very true mate. Didnt the Serbs get promised by Hitler if they sided with Germany then Serbia would become a super power and have all this land? Its true little fish get eaten by bigger fish but its good to see some country's in the Balkins stand up for their rights.

I really have no idea where Bosnia officially stands for this. I'd guess they are divided, as they are in everything else.

Greece: Suit Against Journalist For Srebrenica Claims to Go Forward
              Skopje | 21 June 2010 |

The Greek judiciary has decided to go ahead with a libel suit against Greek journalist Takis Michas on charges that he falsely claimed that paramilitaries from the country took part in the massacre in the Bosnian town of Srebrenica during the war there.

The trial against the journalist, who is best known as the author of the book “Unholy Alliance: Greece and Milosevic's Serbia”, has been set for September 29. In the book he points to what he calls the strong support of the Greek state for the former Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic.

Michas claims that some state actors are unhappy with the journalist's remarks, which differ from the official Greek depiction of events.

“Although nominally the judges act independently from the government one can be sure that the decision to bring the case to trial was taken with the full approval of the Greek”deep-state”," Michas says.

The libel suit was filed in July last year by Stavros Vitalis, a spokesman for the ultra nationalist party Panhellenic Macedonian Front. Vitalis is one of the leading Greek volunteers who have admitted taking part in the Bosnian war on the side of the Serbian forces.

Vitalis claims that he has been libeled because the journalist described the Greek volunteers as “paramilitaries who took part in the slaughter in Srebrenica” when according to him their cause in Bosnia was “to help a people [i.e. Serbs]”.

Vitalis says that the Greek volunteers were in good standing with the Serb army, fighting under the command of the then Bosnian Serb General Ratko Mladic, and they just happened to be in Srebrenica around the time when the notorious massacre happened.

Mladic is one of the two remaining fugitives wanted by the International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia, ICTY, on war crimes charges, including genocide in Srebrenica.

The notorious massacre, described as one of the most horrible atrocities since the Second World War, took place in July 1995 when the Bosnian Serb Army under Mladic’s command entered the town and killed some 8,000 Bosniak men and boys. An additional 30,000 Bosnian Muslims were expelled from the area.

It was a shame for the world tough because if Turkish soldiers would go there earlier, we could prevent them to realize the genocide since when we started airfield attacks, all Serbian forces eliminated in few days and Serbian forces surrendered immediately.

Actually, it`s no use to write a response to an idiot like you because you are just brainwashed and too stupid to "think" rather than believing what have been told to you but if your religion tells you to kill innocent people, then fck your religion, ok? I don't give a shit about Islam or any other religion either since it`s nothing more than a reason to manipulate braindead people like you.

I just pity for you. You are just a weak minded fool who gets manipulated by the devils like Karadzic, Mladic and worse, you think that the genocide had to be done in the name of a religion. I hope you and your kind rots in hell like your so-called heroes cuz people like you are the enemies of the humanity.

Also the Turks gone there under the tag of NATO to save people from the jihadists like you, not for killing people like your "heroes".

Statements like this are dangerous and ill-concieved, would you consider these 2 heroes if they had accidentally killed your family in the process of stopping islam? What price would you be prepared to pay for religion? Try and remember that we are all a part of the human race, that gives us all something in common, then we are part of a country, then part of a religion - which should not be the determinant for living or dying. There are good and bad people in all nationalities, religions and countries - how do you come up with the idea that it's all right to kill muslims or believers of islam? If the Islamists decided to kill everyone that disagreed with them would that make it ok?
You need to take a good hard look in the mirror -and if you don't like what you see it's probably coz your'e listening to the wrong people or reading the wrong information!
On Delchev's sarcophagus you can read the following inscription: "We swear the future generations to bury these sacred bones in the capital of Independent Macedonia. August 1923 Illinden"

Thousands Mourn Srebrenica Massacre Victims, Criticize UN

Survivors have expressed frustration over the United Nation's perceived failure to prevent the killing of more than 8,000 Muslims by Serb forces in July, 1995

A pile of more than 16,000 shoes, each pair representing a victim of the 1995 Srebrenica massacre are placed with a UN sign in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Sunday July 11, 2010. The shoes were collected to make 'The Pillar of Shame', German activist's Phillip Ruch's monument to Srebrenica. On July 11, 1995, more than 8,000 Bosnian Muslim men and youths were slaughtered by Bosnian Serb troops in an enclave supposedly protected by U.N. peacekeepers.

Tens of thousands of people have commemorated the 15th anniversary of Europe's worst massacre since World War II in the Bosnian town of Srebrenica. Survivors have expressed frustration over the United Nation's perceived failure to prevent the killing of more than 8,000 Muslims by Serb forces in July, 1995.

In the summer heat, huge crowds of mourning Muslims attended the biggest funeral near the eastern Bosnian town of Srebrenica.

A hillside was dug out with graves for 775 green-draped coffins of recently identified victims of Europe's largest mass killing since the Holocaust. The youngest victims were two boys, aged 14, who were laid to rest alongside thousands of bodies already in the graveyard.

The funeral at the Potocari Memorial Center was part of the 15th anniversary commemoration of what became known as the Srebrenica massacre.

More than 8,000 Muslim men and boys were killed by forces led by Bosnian-Serb General Ratko Mladic who seized Srebrenica on July 11, 1995, during the Balkan conflict that broke up Yugoslavia.

Investigators say the troops went on a week-long killing spree as U.N. troops protecting the town stepped aside. Survivors are angry that Mladic remains at large. But they have also criticized the United Nations for allegedly failing to prevent the massacre.

Before Sunday's ceremony, relatives of two men killed by Serbian forces at Srebrenica filed a complaint with the Netherlands' prosecutor's office against commanders of the U.N. Dutch battalion, Dutchbat, which was based in the Srebrenica enclave.

The complaint charges the Dutchbat commanders with complicity in war crimes, lawyer Liesbeth Zegveld explained to Radio Netherlands Worldwide.

"...There is sufficient evidence for war crimes and genocide in this case. The commanders of Dutchbat have evicted the victims from the Dutchbat compound in Srebrenica on the 13th of July 1995," Zegveld said. "They have forced them to leave a safe environment. It is supported by statements made at the time by the Dutchbat military stating that they feared for the fate of the Muslim men. That they feared a mass execution. That they knew that the men who were evicted from the compound were not arriving in the safe area ... whereas the women and children did arrive."

Dutch soldiers have said they were outnumbered and not able to halt the Serbian invasion.

The presidents of all the states that made up the former Yugoslavia were present for the commemoration, including Serbia's President Boris Tadic. Some in the crowd yelled "Bravo, Boris!" others asked "Where is Mladic?"

There was no official seen from the United Nations.

In a statement read for him at the ceremony, U.S. President Barack Obama urged "governments to redouble their efforts" and arrest those responsible for the war crimes at Srebrenica.

Mr. Obama called the Srebrenica genocide a "stain on our collective consciousness" after decades of pledges of "never again" following Nazi atrocities, during World War II.

The Muslims are becoming masters of propaganda. As well as this well orchestrated action was the individual reburial of the remains discovered in mass graves. Their remains were discovered ages ago and the scientific sorting of the remains began almost immediately but somehow all concluded just in time for a mass reburial in individual graves exactly on the anniversary. The parading of thousands of caskets creates strong symbolism. I guess even the dead have their roll to play in the propaganda war.
