Greece owns the copyright to the name Macedonia? If this is the case, then those who have truly had their rights infringed upon have an excellent case against those truly doing the infringing. This can be contested and these idiots made to pay through the nose. I hope this does not go unaddressed by Macedonia’s representatives. Worst case scenario, people learn a little more about what’s truly happening here. It would be great to see everyday Slovenians boycotting Greek products and Greece, itself, until this decision is reversed. What label would Macedonian products carry inside Macedonia should it gain entry into the EU? It’s stupendously stupefying, really.

Greece doesn't have an honest right to the name Macedonia, let along the right to exclusivity or monopoly. These criminally achieved 'rights' granted to them by ignorant institutions will never defeat the truth. It's all politics, and a disgraceful display of it by Slovenia.

The Greeks try different arguments to suit whatever situation is at hand. One of there arguments is RoM is mostly not even on Macedonian soil

and the people are newcomers from somewhere so can hardly have a right to anything with the name Macedonia. In any event they should not have been allowed to copyright a region name without the whole region being theirs. This is challengeable but I guess their counter argument could be the map above. It should not be left unchallenged.

The Slovenes are weak as countries choosing to recognise us should stick to their guns but when it boils down no one bar the strong likes of China or stubborn types like France would get into a legal action over someone else. Its much easier to just say you sort it out over there.

Slovenia heavily relies on us for their products, their most famous fruit drink Fruktal for example is Slovenian but everything is made in Macedonia and sent to Slovenija.

Alot of their wine comes from our grapes too, im not sure why they bowed to Greece's demands surly they either bribed them or blackmailed them somehow.

Daniel is right, Macedonia has one of the best wine products in Europe for sure its up there with the French and Spanish wines.

As for Greece having Macedonia as a copyright, they do under the EU market. Its a bloody disgrace i agree, but one things for sure we have top quality wine i know the Russian Church wants more then we can produce for starters.

Well said SOM, the reason Greece want the name Macedonia so bad is because theres alot of money that comes along with it, and that is disgraceful. Its a shame as a lot of these macedonian products are very popular in slovenia as well. Not only we face the shame of getting our name "banned" in a country, we will probably loose a bit of profit as well.....
