Crvenkovski the predavnik asking Bulgaria to recognize the Macedonian Nation

      http://www.balkaninsight.com/en/main/news/27410/

Bulgaria Urged to 'Recognise Macedonian Nation'

Branko Crvenkovski, the former prime minister and president of Macedonia, has urged Bulgaria to recognise the existence of a “Macedonian nation.”

Crvenkovski, who is the chair of the Macedonian Social-Democratic Union and was the president of Macedonia from 2005-2009, met Thursday with the acting Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov, and with the leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party and ex-PM, Sergey Stanishev, Novinite reports.

“The fact that the Bulgarians are not ready to recognize the independence of the Macedonian nation, the feeling of national identity of Macedonians, is what makes Macedonians have reservations against the Bulgarians,” declared Crvenkovski after his meeting with Stanishev.

“This problem has to be decided on the part of Bulgaria. I claim that, once this has been done, the Macedonians will have no reservations with respect to Bulgaria,” he elaborated, apparently referring to the many Bulgarians who see Macedonia and its population as part of the Bulgarian nation, at least historically, and view the Macedonian language as a dialect of the Bulgarian language.

Crvenkovski denied the claims that he ever spoke against Bulgaria during his time as a Macedonian head of state.

“I insist that nowhere in Macedonia have there been any claims that Bulgaria is not a friend of our country,” said said.

He pointed out that Macedonia would never forget that Bulgaria was the first sovereign state to recognize its independence from Yugoslavia in 1991, or that Bulgaria recognizes Macedonia’s constitutional name (i.e. the Republic of Macedonia rather than FYROM – in contrast to countries such as Greece which insist that Macedonia should change its name in order to avoid any references to territorial claims).

Crvenkovski explained the large number of Macedonians who are applying for Bulgarian passports with Bulgaria’s EU accession, and suggested that if Macedonia joined the EU, there would be people from neighbouring states who would apply for Macedonian citizenship the very same way.

The leader of the major Macedonian opposition party said his formation backed the signing of a “Friendship Treaty” between Bulgaria and Macedonia but stressed that the fate of the treaty is in the hands of the Macedonian government led by the VMRO-DPMNE party.

It recently emerged that the Bulgarian government suggested to Macedonia such a treaty in 2008, but it has not yet been signed or rejected.

Crvenkovski did slam the government of Macedonian PM Nikola Gruevski for lacking a grand strategy and for having bad economic policies in times of crisis. He also said that Gruevski has to find a way out of the name dispute with Greece in order to open the way for Macedonia’s integration in NATO and the EU.

Both Crvenkovski and Stanishev expressed their satisfaction with the relations between Bulgaria and Macedonia back in the time when their respective leftist parties were in power.

What about the Macedonian minority in Bulgaria you asshole? What about the numerous times you stated that Macedonia has to "work with 'greece' to find a solution to the name"? Someone please put this animal out of his misery.
What about recognizing the Macedonian minority in Bulgaria you fool? What about the many times you said that Macedonia should work with modern "greece" in the name solution? Why is this animal still alive?

He has been taking classes from Gruevski, don't worry, now it's a fashion to be a phoney patriot while in practice favouring oppossite politics.

          Widespread corruption arrests in Macedonia

          19 April 2010

SKOPJE -- Some 40 persons were arrested in Macedonia, mostly suspected of accepting bribes and defrauding state funds.

Most of the persons arrested are doctors and officials of the Fund for Pension Insurance, as well as middlemen involved in the dealings.

They are suspected of accepting bribes and issuing illegal disability pensions.

Police stated that many have already been questioned and that searches of the suspect's homes are ongoing.

The police action took effect after media reports that several members of the commission for issuing disability pensions were accepting bribes of in between EUR 2,000 and 5,000 per pension, giving illegal pensions to those who gave bribes instead of to persons who had applied legally.

Police stated that pensions issued over the last several years would be investigated.

Fun for the crowd and nothing more.

Give the peasants little entertaiment and keep doing what you do while they are distracted from the real robbery.

Plus... you have the political benefit of gettin the credits for exposing some low life criminals instead of their fat bosses.

                      When are they arresting Crvenkovski?
From the village of P’pezhani, Tashko Popov, Dimitar Popov-Skenderov and Todor Trpenov were beaten and sentenced to 12 years prison. Pavle Mevchev and Atanas Popov from Vrbeni and Boreshnica joined them in early 1927, they were soon after transferred to Kozhani and executed. As they were leaving Lerin they were heard to shout "With our death, Macedonia will not be lost. Our blood will run, but other Macedonians will rise from it"

                        Arrest Crvenkovski?

They already have a dossier with enough evidence to put him in jail, but a few things need to happen (or rather MVR need to action) before they can move on Crvenkovski.

                        1. There are many people in high positions who fear him (and thus protect him), because if he is going down, he has enough on them to take them down with him - and so those people (incl. Judges, Media owners/stakeholders, diplomats, company directors, police & intelligence officers, foreign owned/backed NGO officers, etc) protect him, to protect themselves. So those smaller fish (smaller than Crvenkovski within Macedonia's political realm) who can and will protect him, need to fry first.

                        2. The Government fears the potential political backlash. Most of the old SDSM support base is waning, but there is a concern that it may only be dormant while it is disgusted by the SDSM leadership. Arresting Crvenkovski may wake that dormant SDSM base and weaken the power of the current ruling party. More time needs to lapse before any moves are made, and the old (now dormant) SDSM base needs to be given a carrot, while some key fugues need to be thrown some cookies to help keep the current dormant status quo in such an event as the takedown of Crvenkovski.

Its not Crvenkovski just on his own its people in key positions who support him, like judges, lawyers, doctors and others who stand behind him. Lets not forget the Sorosoids like Vladimir Milcin who are on his side.

Whe VMRO came in power they did the same with carinari. Now I am not saying the ones that got arrested didn't deserve it, they did big time. But out of all the carinari only one VMRO member was arrested, all the others were SDSM. I hope this is not the same case. Also it shouldn't stop here. Gov officials, administration officials etc must all be arrested. The law must be the same for everyone. I will support any gov that will make the law the same for all.
I will tell you a little story why I hate when people are protected by the party in power even if they are criminals and low beings. A murder happened yesterday in Kriva Palanka, 37 year old man killed his girlfriend with whom he had three kids. Now me being from the same place I know this guy and I know the girl (actually I don't know her but I have heard of her). She is just a victim, a girl that came from a mountain village to study in the town and fell victim to this violent man. He is one of those people I have been telling you about, a proper VMRO supporter that has got away with a zillion criminal things, not one or two. The girls parents poor people, selski luge, we afraid of him and his pleme of a family. He was always always above the law when VMRO in power, in jail when SDSM was in power. If the law was the same for all this man would have been jailed years ago and this poor girl would have been still alive. Should someone be helpd responsable? I think so. The judges, the police everyone so crvena kniska who let him behave like he is god. He was a violent man and always stayed one. If only the police and cours did their job, we probably would have save a poor soul from the hands of a monster.

Terrible story, and I agree with you completely, irrespective of which political party one may follow, if they're maggots they're maggots, and they deserve nothing but the full strength of the law.
