    Here's a few hundreds of them. You can find Thessaloniki and Macedonia post cards in the pages 23-30 (check No 1104, 1114, 1201, 1345).

    There is a flash animation here for the history of Salonika. It`s quite nice with pictures and music;

    Try and find the source, it would be much appreciated.

    I showed this photo to my mum earlier in the day, who in turn showed it to her friends that were actively involved in Macedonian dancing groups for years, and they indicated that the style of dress that these Solunchanki are wearing (particular the front part from the waist down and the head piece) resembles that of the ladies in Mariovo.

    SoM the source of these postcards are unknown but my cousin in MK sent them to me. I emailed her and she said she saw them from a book once in the library at Skopje.

    Ill dig some more with her and see if i can find anything else

    It's most likely late 19th century or early 20th.

    Makedonetz, what is the source of these postcards? How did you come by them?

    I can't verify the dates but I know that the French issued a lot of postcards during the Great War.
