The same goes for Napoleon-what if he was half Greek(they say Maniot of Corsica) half Mongol ,or half Zulu.
    He was definetely 100% French.

I find it implausible that Napoleon was Greek.

Ah, keep this rational at arms length Coastal.

Your Greek patriotins make Goce Delcev as a Bulgarian.

Well if he was Bulgarian and with the above sentiments in mind why didn't he just go to Sofia and smoke a pipe on his lazy chair,,,,,,instead he fought for an autonomous and free Macedonia?

Stojanec, everyone who fought and risked his life for Macedonia is Macedonian.
The same goes for those who fought for Greece and Bulgaria.

You may know that Pitu Guli had a Vlach origin-Is he Macedonian or not? By the racist logic of people like TM ,he is not!

Pardon me ..but i won't follow this witch hunting .Human beings are not dogs to be examined for their purity of race.

I will refrain from posting in many threads...maybe we should talk for those who connect us and not for those who divide us.

well, Pavlos Melas and Germanos Karavangeli(s) connect us too, but on very unpleasent way.

i think one of the things you modern Greeks should do is opening some painful subjects from the last 200 years.

so long you (as a State of Greece) celebrate people who should be judged for crimes against the Humanity, it is hard to put on side some things.

                            edit:

since "we spread brotherhood and sisterhood..."

Serdarot ,we can't live in 1904!! this is at least pathetic!

Melas and Karavangelis are "national heroes" as the Komidajis that are national heroes for you (and the Bulgarians).

For me,this struggle ,was not a war...it was a chain of terror -Both sides by murders (esp of priests, teachers and wealthy people) tried to terrorize the locals in order to take them by their side.
It's something noone should be proud of..but this is how national histories work, producing heroes and pride.

ps-did you ask me if i am from Florina /Lerin? No i am not coast is not the coast of Prespa
