I think I must have entered the twilight zone at my local shops today. Either that or, I am living through a bad dream at the moment. Everywhere I looked, young and old alike, were casually walking around like zombies with their masks compliantly fastened over their faces. As of midnight last night, new mandatory rules are in force for the wearing of masks in the Greater Sydney area (including Wollongong, Central Coast and Blue Mountains). The wearing of masks will be mandatory at the following places:

    • shopping (retail, supermarkets and shopping centres)
    • on public/shared transport and waiting areas for public/shared transport
    • indoor entertainment (including cinemas and theatres)
    • places of worship
    • hair and beauty premises
    • visiting an aged care facility.

Compliance will start from Monday 4 January 2021 with $200 on the spot fines for individuals for non-compliance...What a brave new world we live in.

I find it amazing how this was all predicted exactly how it’s turned out to be by a “Conspiracy Theorist” on YouTube almost a year ago now. I remember watching this guy and the way he spelt it all out moment by moment is almost uncanny how spot-on he was. He started off by reminding everyone how odd and random it was to see the occasional Asian wearing a mask on public transport not that long ago. We would laugh to ourselves and think how silly and strange they looked. That was even before Covid 19 was a thing. Then the virus slowly crept into our lives and the masks started to appear more and more. The expert advice at the time evolved from “unnecessary”, to “personal choice”, to “strongly recommended”, to finally, “mandatory”!

He went on to predict that this would become the new “normal” and that we would long for that other normal that we all took for granted. “Where All in It Together” was the slogan. If we all comply and do what we’re asked to do (i.e. told to do) we will get out of this and things will get back to normal. We just need to stay the course and persevere was the pep talk they gave us. And, sure enough, the cases dropped to zero, the restrictions came down and, for a while, the masks came off and we went back to a semblance of the old normal. But wait…Oh no, the second wave comes along and the masks have, all of a sudden, become mandatory. Not to worry though. Humanity’s saving grace will be the upcoming vaccine. If you want to go to the shops or catch a bus without a mask on, then you will need to prove that you’ve received the jab.

Just repeating, this was all predicted about eight or so months ago by those crazy conspiracy theorists out there.

Apologies for the typo everyone. That should be "We're All in It Together". No matter how many times I proof read my posts, a typo always manages to slip through unfortunately

This may seem unrelated. But this man is is one of the good ones. He created an independent research body which eventually succumbed to the influence of big pharma. He resigned and so did half the board. Big pharma tried to destroy him.

Apparently it's all slowing down in USA now. It's as though Biden is fixing it immediately. Which is expected, of course.

Yep, all back to normal now. Biden behaving like other leaders of the democrat party.

Biden spotted maskless on federal property hours after signing mandate

President Biden faced criticism for removing his face mask while visiting the Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday night hours after signing an executive order requiring masks on federal property to prevent the spread of coronavirus. "Wearing masks isn't a partisan issue – it's a patriotic act that can save countless lives. That's why I signed an executive order today issuing a mask mandate on federal property. It's time to mask up, America," Biden wrote on Twitter on Wednesday night.........During his inaugural address, the new commander in chief warned that the nation's "darkest and most deadly" coronavirus pandemic days could be ahead of it.
Perhaps he forgot what he said. It wouldn't be the first time. But nothing to see here. Compliant (complicit) media. Sanctioned hypocrisy. All back to normal.

Police faced off with curfew-defying crowds in The Hague, Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Enschede, Venlo, Stein, Roermond, Oosterhout, Breda and elsewhere across the nation for the second day in a row on Sunday.

At least 190 people, including minors, were detained in Amsterdam alone, where some 1,500 protesters gathered at the central Museum Square, according to local media.

Just with regard to a maskless Biden from the other day. The blatant hypocrisy on the part of MSM is there for all to see when it comes to their feigned outrage over the hideous crime of not wearing a muzzle. Evidently, mask shaming is reserved mainly for conservatives by MSM. In fact, conservatives who don't wear a mask in public are all guilty of "chemical warfare" apparently, as some in the leftist media have stated recently..."Deprograming" these fools off of their conservative ideology, is a priority all of a sudden...How will that work? Special deprogramming camps for close to 75 million of them?...Perhaps somewhere in the Nevada desert? Actually, that's the number that is confirmed to have voted for Trump. Add to that many millions more young adults and children raised in conservative households who are not of voting age and the real number becomes more realistic, perhaps even double that number.

Short 4 minute video pointing out what the experts are now saying about masks. Apparently, wearing one mask is not really as effective as wearing two! Can't wait till this idea catches on here as well and they make it mandatory.

Left out by EU, Balkan nations turn to Russia, China for vaccine

                          URL:

As coronavirus cases rise in the region, several countries are yet to begin vaccinations two months after the EU’s inoculation drive began.

Nearly two months after the European Union started its vaccination campaigns, four out of six countries in the Western Balkans have yet to begin.

With climbing coronavirus cases and no clear timeline on when vaccines from the COVAX mechanism and EU procurement scheme will be delivered, many countries have been looking towards China and Russia for solutions.

The moves come as wealthy nations have been criticised for taking the bulk of this year’s vaccine supply.

Israel has the highest number of inoculations in the world per capita, followed by the UAE, the UK, Bahrain, the US and EU member states Italy, Germany and France.

To compare, 60 percent of Israel’s population has already received at least one shot, as other countries relying on COVAX and the EU procurement mechanism, such as Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Kosovo, are yet to start vaccine drives.

Montenegro currently has the highest number of coronavirus cases per capita in Europe (9,910 infected per 100,000 people) while Bosnia and Herzegovina has one of the highest COVID related mortality rates in Europe (4,775 deaths with a population of 3.5 million).

To address the pandemic, the World Health Organization (WHO) set up COVAX in April to ensure that all participating countries worldwide, regardless of their wealth will have equal access to vaccines.

Adi Cerimagic, an analyst at the EU-based European Stability Initiative said all Western Balkan states signed up to the COVAX and EU procurement mechanism to purchase vaccines “in a transparent and somewhat cheaper way”.

“It was clear from the beginning that this meant that the vaccines’ delivery might not be as quick as for the EU, but it was considered the safest and the cheapest path,” Cerimagic said.

Serbia paid four million euros ($4.8m) to COVAX last year, but with the unexplained prolonged delay from the EU, it began making its own bilateral deals with Russia and China.

The country now leads continental Europe with the highest inoculation rate, having vaccinated 550,000 people so far out of a population of seven million.

                          Serbia, a model of success?

From mid-December until the end of January Serbia procured 1.1 million vaccines, according to authorities, one million of which were Chinese vaccines and the rest consisting of Russia’s Sputnik V and the US-German Pfizer-BioNTech shots. Serbia is also the first country in Europe to secure vaccines from China’s Sinopharm.

President Aleksandar Vucic announced at a news conference on Tuesday that by the end of February, Serbia will have two million vaccine doses in stock from various manufacturers.

The country also plans to start domestic production of Sputnik V by the end of the year.

In Late January, Vucic compared the world’s scramble for vaccines, or so-called “vaccine nationalism”, with the Titanic, telling viewers in his Instagram video that “the rich try to secure rescue boats only for themselves”, leaving the poor to drown.

Last week, he continued to criticise countries who were buying more vaccines than needed.

“It’s as if they intend to vaccinate all their cats and dogs,” he said.

WHO Europe Director Hans Kluge echoed the same message last week when he called for richer nations to share their doses with poorer nations, unable to buy vaccines.

“We know that in the EU, Canada, UK, US, they all ordered and made deals for four to nine times more doses than they need,” Kluge told the AFP news agency.

“So my point here is, don’t wait until you have 70 percent of the population [vaccinated] to share with the Balkans, to share with central Asia, Africa.”

Cerimagic told Al Jazeera that the number of vaccines needed to inoculate the region’s health workers was relatively lower than the EU’s daily vaccinations.
