Political theatre of the absurd!

The vote of non-confidence fell apart. Zaev and co. did not enter the parliament at all. Bilal Kasami, leader of the BESA party whose MP went "missing", says he suspects he was kidnapped to prevent him to vote! So, we are left with "60-60" split.

EU not 'indicating' there was a diplomat who called Kastriot Rexhepi to persuade him not to come to Parliament:

Alternative will lead health, information society and diaspora (what is информатичко општество??)

Zaev and Gashi set to sign the program after Alternative decided to join the Government

https://english.republika.mk/news/ma...he-government/

Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and Alternative leader Afrim Gashi are set to sign the program for joint action after the party decided to joint the Government and the parliamentary majority. Zaev and Gashi are expected to officially announce which departments Alternative will take over.

The decision for joining the government was reached Saturday evening by the Central Council, the party’s top body.

At the session, the party leader Afrim Gashi informed about the course of the negotiations with Zaev so far and the program points that have been agreed, as well as about the undertaken obligations.

According to party spokesperson Orhan Murtezani, the reason for Alternative joining the government is the historic moment for the opening of EU membership talks and the resolving of the dispute with Bulgaria as goals of the state, but also of the Albanians, because that will open the way for European integration of the entire region.

Orhan Murtezani, spokesperson for DUI’s sister party, the Alternative party, told a news conference tonight that the party decided to join the current parliamentary majority and the government.

This is the decision from the meeting of the Central Council of Alternative, made after three meetings of Alternative leader, Afrim Gashi with the resigned Prime Minister and SDSM leader Zoran Zaev, where they discussed Alternative’s participation in the Government and their four MPs supporting the parliamentary majority.

Murtezani informed that all agreed points will be officially signed tomorrow by the two leaders of the parties, Zaev and Gashi.

MINA finds, Gashi will receive 3 Ministerial positions (Health, Informatics, Diaspora), three deputy Ministers and 47 directorial positions at Government institutions, among which are (MEPSO, Hospitals, Railways, Prisons, Libraries, Theaters, Archives, Police, the Postal Service, Roads etc.)

Still some details to work out but with the major concessions Zaev was forced to make to the Alternative party (including giving them the Health Minister run by Filipce), we are close to having equal number of Albanians and Macedonians in the Government.

That seems representative of the stupidity levels in the nation.
