Default French Presidential Election 2012

With the French presidential elections due on 22 Apr and 06 May 2012, I was wondering, are there any members who are from France and can they shed some light if "National Front" presidential candidate, Jean-Marie Le Penn,

would be any more favourable towards Macedonia, seeing she is for French sovereignty, getting out of the Euro, and expelling migrants?

Her now rise to 20% in polls puts her close to Sarkozy's 24% and Hollande's 27.5% making her a real contender.

Likewise, does anyone know Hollande's position on Macedonia?

How do you feel about any of the contenders?

France’s Le Pen Gains Voter Support as Sarkozy, Hollande Stall

http://www.businessweek.com/news/201...nde-stall.html

Dec. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Marine Le Pen, leader of France’s anti-euro National Front, is gaining support as backing for President Nicolas Sarkozy and Socialist candidate Francois Hollande stalls, an Ifop poll showed.

About 20 percent would back Le Pen if an election were held now, up from 19 percent a month ago and 17 percent in October, according to an Ifop poll for Le Journal du Dimanche published today. Support for Sarkozy has dropped to 24 percent from 26 percent a month ago and backing for Hollande has declined to 27.5 percent from 32.5 percent, the poll showed.

The results suggest that both the leading candidates suffered after Francois Bayrou and Dominique de Villepin declared their intentions to seek the presidency. The 2012 election consists of two rounds, with the two leading candidates from balloting in April 22 holding a face-off May 6.

Voting intentions for the second round were unchanged, with Hollande holding at 56 percent support and Sarkozy 44 percent, Ifop said.

Ifop interviewed 937 voters between Dec. 13 and 15. The margin of error for the results on the three leading candidates is between 2 and 3 percentage points, it said.

A separate Ipsos poll for Le Monde daily showed Hollande would win the first round with 32 percent, down 3 percentage points from a month earlier. Sarkozy would gather 25.5 percent, up 1.5 points and Le Pen would get 17 percent, down 2 points. The pollster called 5,415 registered voters between Nov. 30 and Dec. 5 and didn’t publish margins of error.

France's far right leader Le Pen tries revive campaign
Quote:
French far-right leader Marine Le Pen sought to revive her flagging presidential campaign on Saturday, saying she was the only genuine opposition to the established parties whose policies would lead France into a Greek-style tragedy.

Le Pen, who replaced her father as head of the National Front last year, has sought to broaden the appeal of the party beyond its traditional anti-immigrant constituency to attract a younger generation of voters.

She ranks third in opinion polls with just two months to go before the first round of the election on April 22.

At one point in January she was just a couple of points behind conservative President Nicolas Sarkozy, but has fallen back in recent weeks.

"The campaign has truly started," Le Pen told reporters at the start of the National Front's annual congress in the northern city of Lille.

"We must kick out those parties that have brought us to our knees.

I am the only opposition to the UMPS (Sarkozy's UMP and Francois Hollande's Socialist Party).

Those are candidates of the (Greek) troika and we cannot turn to them."

Le Pen announced a raft of policies in January to balance France's books, including taxing imports, tapping the central bank for cheap loans instead of debt markets and giving French citizens priority over foreigners for jobs.

Her anti-euro and protectionist stance has struck a chord, especially among working class voters disillusioned by economic hardship since the start of the global financial crisis.

But most analysts deem her economic programme as not credible.

Le Pen criticised the troika - the International Monetary Fund, the European Union and the European Central Bank - which has demanded Greece impose austerity measures in return for bailout funds.

"The troika unites the European Commission, the Central Bank and the IMF against the people," she said.

Le Pen looks like winning. Her gains in the polls have secured her run for the presidency.

French election: Le Pen set to join presidential race

13 March 2012

Far-right leader Marine Le Pen says she has secured the support of the 500 elected officials necessary to stand in the French presidential election.

Rest of article in Link.
The 'grapevine' says that her gains in the polls spooked Sarkozy which lead to the recent shooting in France.

Sarkozy Gains After Shootings as Candidates Resume Campaigning

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-0...authority.html

Mar 22, 2012
French President Nicolas Sarkozy pulled ahead of Socialist Francois Hollande in a poll tracking intentions for the first round of next month’s elections following a spree of terrorist murders that underscored his role as a crisis fighter.

The campaign resumed today after it was suspended in the wake of a March 19 shooting that killed four people, including three children, at a Jewish school in Toulouse. The self- proclaimed assassin, who also shot dead three people last week, has been holed up in his apartment since 3 a.m. yesterday.
Let's hope she wins!
Sarkozy is a scumbag who wasn't even born in France.
The shooter was tracked (read trained) by the government, let loose and then killed by the government and Sarkoy's poll results go up.

And if (read when) the government does pull a shifty and creates their own false flag terror attack let's ban/arrest conspiracy theorists who might try to expose the truth - "1984 thought control/police". This is exactly the kind of thing I have been going on about since being on the MTO.

Sarkozy: Visiting hate and terror websites will be punished

http://rt.com/news/merah-sarkozy-ter...-toulouse-200/

22 March, 2012
French President Nicolas Sarkozy has spoken out strongly against extremism, but urged his countrymen not to stigmatize Muslims, after a 32-hour siege that resulted in the death of a radical Islamist gunman who confessed to killing seven people.

Sarkozy has proposed a raft of new anti-terrorist measures.
Speaking in a press conference straight after the end of the siege in Toulouse, the French president said anyone regularly visiting websites "justifying terrorism" or "preaching hatred and violence" would be prosecuted.

Sarkozy also called for punishments to those who travel to radical Islamic camps, even if they commit no crimes on French soil.
It is suspected that the Mohamed Merah, the gunman who numbered three Jewish children among his victims, visited Afghanistan and Pakistan on several occasions, fighting alongside the Taliban. Merah claimed links with Al-Qaeda during the siege.
Of course Al-Qaeda is a known CIA operation but we'll arrest you if you know that!

Because she is the only one who cares for France first! - the others are sell-outs of French sovereignty and people.

The current prick wasn't even born in France. That's why I have always said NO immigrant should EVER be considered for public office and ONLY his grand child or better still great-grand child could be considered.

Both Sarkozy and François Hollande have jewish roots.

Hollande is leading the polls right now. The only way for Marine Le Pen to win it, is being 2nd in the first round of the election, so she has to get more votes than Sarkozy.

After the latest terror attack in France, Sarkozy increased his support. F. Hollande has 30%, Sarkozy 27%, Le Pen has 14% support according to the latest polls;
