![]() Macedonia hosts Moldova in a friendly later today, in a warm-up to WC qualifiers which will be resuming soon.
http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/...=FIFA.FRIENDLY I dont know much about your countries team, but Moldova is in Greeces group for the 4th year in a row, and I can assure you they are a very shit team. Definitely dont have a player in the class of Pandev on their team. Anyways, I am a football junkie, if there are any others on the forum, direct any conversation pertaining to todays match to this thread. Good luck boys Greece plays Denmark in Crete today as well I have a feeling we are going to get our asses kicked, as the team has been in poor form of late, and Denmark is a strong European side |

Many are like Spartan. I have some Greek friends that I rate very highly as people. They are respectful and caring family oriented people. They know little about their history and accept what they hear from people who should know better than to manipulate the masses. Macedonians need more dialogue with Greeks not less. And Greeks need to learn to listen. There is hope that one day we can all sit on the same table.

![]() It depends on how you define Greek.
Your "Greek" definition means deluded, crazed nationalistic scum whose sole purpose is to deny other people's identity just so that nobody looks at their own identity.

![]() I live in the Diaspora since i was 10 yrs old, my Greek suffered a bit, I guess that makes me not Greek.
TN, I dont know why you would attack me, but now I feel I must respond. You can tell alot from someones grammar I see... You should try reading your english sometimes you seem like you consider yourself an expert in origins of the people in northern Greece, and you dont like anyone else telling you about your people. - fair enough. yet, you would like to give me a thorough lesson on my roots. you like to tell us about your family's deep roots in Macedonia-I am happy to hear from you. let me tell you about my family roots. my great-grandparents were born in the 1870s in Lakonia . They spoke greek only..... as did their parents and grand parents. According to you, we are not Greek? Tsakonian is still spoken in towns within a half hour hour from where I was born. The south my friend, regardless of what era you want to talk about, has always been the heart and soul of Greece Alot of you northern Greeks should come to terms with this Put it this way If im not Greek, you cant be Greek ![]() Last edited by Spartan; 02-11-2009 at 10:26 PM. |
