Are there any statistics on that region which outline the amount of emigrants and their ethnic origin in recent years?

Update - the 7pm results have been updated on https://rezultati.sec.mk/ and now show IE6 at 35.46% overall turnout, whereas IE3 and IE4 are both above 50% already.

Perhaps in this instance certain people weren't able to come back to artificially hike up the numbers before returning to their domiciles in the EU. Or perhaps the previous population figure for that region wasn't that high to begin with. Time will tell.
I'm not sure if anyone recalls the following scandal caused by Arben Ziberi in late June, which was only a few weeks ago.

"Ziberi, who is a DUI party official, bragged on Albanian language media that he got the Commission on infectious diseases to open the border so that more members of the Albanian diaspora can come and vote on July 15 for DUI."
Ziberi further said that “All our diaspora voters are welcome, you can come without testing or quarantine, thanks to our contribution to the healthcare policies of the Government. Come home and let’s elect an Albanian as Prime Minister”, Ziberi said.
Note that Arben Ziberi is related to Naser Ziberi, the DUI candidate for PM.

First how Macedonian of them to stream the election on you tube because they can't keep a website running properly.
Are we seriously to believe that amidst a pandemic that they managed almost 1.4 million votes? I would argue that is nearly 100% of the actual voting population in the country. Even with the bogus 1.8 million registered voters that is over 75% turnout.
The Albanian parties managed 20% of the vote with lower turnout in the predominantly Albanian region.
Based on the current results here is what I would surmise. If DUI refuses to form a coalition with SDS, then SDS is screwed because Levica and Integra most likely will not either. With just SDS and the remaining Albanian party I don't think they will have a majority in parliament, probably short a couple seats. It is very well possible that DPMNE, DUI, LEVICA, and INTEGRA form a ruling majority. Problem is that DUI is again king maker and they made some pretty dramatic demands.

They will either pick one from their own party, like their VP Muhamed Zekiri, or make up some "co-Prime Minister" role.
If anything DPMNE may be the one to make that deal should SDS fail to form a government, though it looks like that won't happen.

SDSM + AAA + DPA may be enough to form a majority.

Last edited by Carlin; 07-15-2020, 07:56 PM.

Treason, corruption, racketeering and still get voted in.
There's now nothing left.
In Macedonia, of all places you would think that enough voters are truly hurting due to the actions and policies of Zaev and his government:
- name change humiliation
- shiptar language rights
- shiptar nationalists demanding ethnic PM
- ‘friendship agreement’ with Bulgaria
- countless corruption scandals
- appalling handling of the Coronavirus crisis
- underemployment /economic issues
- Zaev’s buffoonery
- rule of law failures
...and yet the two main parties are still split almost 50/50 in overall support - either the Macedonian voter is totally blind to all of the issues and simply doesn’t care about anything enough that they will never cross party lines or the entire democratic process is simply rigged...useless cunts.

I haven't take the time to read through the election rules thoroughly, can somebody outline how they allocate seats? Is it based on total percentage of votes won across the country or the voting constituency (1-6)?In the name of the blood and the sun, the dagger and the gun, Christ protect this soldier, a lion and a Macedonian.

First they take alll the votes in a given constiuency each one gets 20 seats. Then they see which parties are viable meaning they got enough votes for at least 1 seat which translates to 5% of the vote. Then they take out the votes from the nonviable parties and see what percentage of the vote you got of the total votes of viable parties. That is why for example DPA got 1 seat with a similar total votes percentage to integra which got no seats. DPA won at least 5% of a given district while integra may have gotten the same amount of votes in another district but didn't reach 5% of that districts total votes.
