Edmond Temelko strongly advised Nikola Gruevski in Pustec not to change our name and identity at any cost. The harder the EU push, the more stubborn we'll become. No name change at any cost, i dont want to see us join these organizations with a svitkana kichma.

Brussels cannot accept us the way we are.

I think that ALL Macedonians, all those who believe in the right to self determination, equality and the law - should be very concerned by the racist attitudes of the E.U and Brussels.

And Gruevski needs a Macedonian from Albania to tell him this? Why are they still negotiating? So people in our generation can live and die while the whole time the Macedonian state is referred to by that immoral and illegal acronym? It's disgraceful, and so are DPMNE for continuing the legacy started by those traitors from SDS.

The economic crisis is the best thing that happened to Macedonia in a long time. The fagots in the EU are forced to deal with their money issues thus getting off our backs and those blind supporters of the bullshit union in RM can finally see that they are being forced to change the name for a bankrupt and corrupted organization.
I see statement like these as the last futile attempts to keep us Macedonians in tension. Unfortunately for them their ship is sinking and the sun is rising for us.

Oh, and it is worth mentioning that the real creator of this "name problem" is the BS union of course which is acting through the southern neighbor of Macedonia, therefor it is absurd to ever expect respect or recognition toward Macedonia from them.

                Danish Diplomat replacing Erwan Fouere

                About time

                Friday, 17 September 2010

Danish diplomat Peter Sorensen will be a new Head of the European Union Delegation to Macedonia, the Cabinet of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton said Wednesday in a press release.

Sorensen will replace Erwan Fouere, who has been in the office since November of 2005. Fouere's mandate has been extended twice for a six-month period.

Sorensen was a personal representative to former EU foreign policy chief in Belgrade and head of the EU Office in Pristina from 2002 to 2006.

Yes!!! A new guy is going to annoy us each time he appears on TV... We don't want the shitty union and their representatives in REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA (not "your country" as those hypocrite bastards refer to Macedonia). The EU has proven a thousand times (unfortunately this is not exaggeration) that it uses double standards exclusively for us and they should be shown the door. They are not welcomed and this changes nothing.

EU to Macedonia: Great, but National suicide is essential for Accession Talks...

These EU Reports are becoming more and more of a joke.

                          Tuesday, 09 November 2010

Macedonia continues to sufficiently fulfil the political criteria. The European Commission highlights its recommendation that EU accession talks should be launched. However, the general opinion is that negotiated and mutually accepted solution to the name issue, under the auspices of the UN, is required to start the EU negotiations, said EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule at a news conference in Brussels, unveiling the progress reports for candidate countries and aspirant countries for EU membership in 2010.

Following substantial reforms in 2009, further progress has been made, although at an uneven pace, reads the European Commission (EC) progress report for Macedonia in 2010.

With regard to political criteria, the document says that the Government coalition is stable, while its political forces are fostering cooperation. Further progress have been made, although at uneven pace, as regards the reform of the parliament, the police, the judiciary, public administration and respect for and protection of minorities.

"The country needs to make further progress in relation to dialogue among political actors, judiciary and public administration reform, the fight against corruption, freedom of expression and improving the business environment. Implementation of the legislation is essential. The Ohrid Framework Agreement is still the key element for democracy, rule of law and democracy," the EC document reads.

The country, it adds, continued to fulfil its commitments under the Stabilisation and Association Agreement. The Commission has proposed moving to the second stage of the association as provided for by the SAA.

It is emphasised that the Council of EU has not yet taken a position on the EC's recommendation from October 2009 to open accession negotiations. Maintaining good neighbourly relations, including a negotiated and mutually accepted solution to the name issue, under the auspices of the UN, is essential.

"The name issue with Greece remains unresolved. The two countries are engaged in talks under the auspices of the UN on resolving it and a number of bilateral contacts, including at prime minister level, have taken place, although this momentum has not yet led to concrete results. Actions and statements which could adversely affect good neighbourly relations should be avoided. Maintaining good neighbourly relations, including a negotiated and mutually accepted solution to the name issue, under the auspices of the UN, is essential," reads the EC report.

In terms of economic criteria, it is said that Macedonia continues to be well advanced. In some areas, it has made further progress towards becoming a functioning market economy, notably by reducing barriers to market entry and exit and improving the capacity of the courts to handle economy-related cases.

It should be able to cope with competitive pressures and market forces within the Union in the medium term, provided that it vigorously implements its reform programme in order to reduce significant structural weaknesses. Monetary and fiscal policy became more stability-oriented during 2009. The country's external balances improved, reflecting a slight recovery in exports, a drop in imports due to weak domestic demand, and strong private capital inflows.

Unemployment remained very high, especially amongst young people and those with low level of education. Progress has been made in addressing institutional weaknesses and reducing trade barriers, but some shortcomings in rule of law still have a negative impact on the business climate and foreign direct investments, the EC report says.

We will not get in the EU even if we changed our name.

Dutch right-wing against the enlargement of the Union

The leader of the Dutch Freedom Party of Geert Wilders, which is crucial for the majority of the new government, said his party would not vote for Croatia's entry into the European Union.

Far-rightists and Islamophobe in an interview with German magazine Der Spiegel that his party will plead against the entry of Turkey into the EU, because as you said, "that country in the Union will be the Trojan Horse."

He stressed the fact that his party is against any form of EU enlargement.

"I will vote against all other candidates, including Croatia," said Wilders, adding that the government majority on that decision will have to search elsewhere.

He openly advocates against Islam, adding that he is a totalitarian religion, against which can deal only with democratic means

"Europe must stand up and tell the Muslim world: Enough, we will fight for themselves by democratic methods," said Wilders, adding that the latest decision of the Dutch government to ban the niqab will contribute to reducing immigration.

He said that the Netherlands should be banned and the Koran, because, as he said "with his lies, he encourages violence and hatred."

The majority of Austrians want only Croatia and Iceland to join EU

Austrians support the accession of Croatia and Iceland in the European Union, but not Turkey, while about Macedonia are divided, according to results of opinion polls of the "Austrian Society for European Policy," conducted on the occasion of the publication of the European Commission report on progress the states aspiring to EU membership.

Turkey's EU currently refuse almost 69 percent of Austrians, versus 17 percent who supported its approach.

Croatia joining the EU supports 68 percent of Austrians, while only 18 percent oppose it. Iceland supports 62 percent and 21 percent of Austrians are against this country's membership in the EU.

Of the remaining countries with candidate status for EU membership, Macedonia has the support of 39 percent of Austrians, while 37 percent oppose it.
