well isn't that amazing not only is there no Macedonian language because all Macedonians spoke was greek and there was no Macedonian language and there are no Macedonian people they are all greek. If that was the truth its far from it.Ignorant people like samaras breed contempt.Stupidity has its own reward.

I really cannot comprehend why the EU can let someone get away with commentary like that....that is absolutely disgusting!! I really do not understand why the current Macedonian government can put up with responses like that...stop the negotiations and so be done with!!!

pp my sentiments exactly ,that's why I bring things up in a sarcastic way.Picture the Macedonian govt short selling itself by negotiating & capitulating hoping to catch the few morsels that fall from the table.Second best or third best is ok for them. They the rom govt is still captivated by rgreece what a joke. One must be blind not to see through the smoke.

This is the video. The first question and answer is in English, the second is in French.

What a negative attitude to have.TO deny a its obvious were not skopijans. We know who we are. neighbours nationality & ;language into question.I find all this discussion calling a country skopje boring and evasive from the real issues.Whats at stake IS GREECES CREDIBILITY it accusses Macedonia of being intransigence when itself is to be blamed for making an issue of it.Its got the gall & backbone to call for further action on Macedonia's part not on greeces part.Historically it knows full well it doesn't have a leg to stand on in the Aegean part .So to divert the real issue it has created a so called name issue or a smokescreen where it is forcing or bullying Macedonia to submit or else it won't enter the eu or nato.Greece is a joke when it says Macedonia must satisfy the requirements.WHAT REQUIREMENTS DID GREECE SATISFY WHEN IT ENTERED NATO OR THE EU????
Its a waiting game where one side only is expected to capitulate or compromise.

I don't know why we are negotiating with these people. They should be sued for defamation. Diplomacy has failed after all these years.

I'd rather flog a dead horse. I'd get more life out of it.

I have often discussed the question of language from both a political and a scientific-linguistic point of view. This is one of the most recent discussions I can remember, with interesting graphs that I believe went unnoticed.

Hi, everyone I'm back. I hope your weekend was a good one. Thanks for the participation on this subjects I'm posting. I do appreciate it and for the most part it has been at a respectful level on both sides. I'd like to address my use of the name "Yunanistan". It is not on this thread, but Gocka you're

I believe I can give honest and realistic advices on how you can achieve your goals, but Im Greek, so its not really fair to tell you what your goals should be.

Lastly, regarding European integration, European Union is in a crisis right now. Some may see (or use) expansion as a proof theres no crisis. Except for Greece (and Bulgaria) that have national (not European) issues, you are certainly welcome by all (on the one hand) but theyre not in a hurry for this integration (on the other hand). They have regretted mostly for Bulgaria and Romania (the two poorest and most Eastern countries) and at the moment youre in an even worse economic state (thats bad), yet youre a small country (thats good).

ss your graph shows Greece isolated they were also influence by slavs the same as Macedonia by this logic your Greece should be Slavic.Otherwise your just showing bias towards Greece being a pure language. The language is anything but pure.

I'm sure those that are regretting the inclusions of Bulgaria and Romania are also cursing the inclusion of Greece.
Don't think for a single second that Greece is a more credible member...

You should keep to your political discussion surrounding language with your cesspool of racist and fascist colleagues... leave the science to those further up the evolutionary ladder...
