It does seem like its only them who tend to react and protest whenever something like this happens.

Yeah it does, they can be easily organised considering they are already a group. Nevertheless is surprising that no-one else really get's involved in times like this.

I respect their will to protest against the rise in brutal crimes like this, but over-turning cars and burning an Albanian business is just dumb in this situation. Have a go at the Police but don't vandalise.

True, but I don't buy into Macedonians using that as an excuse not to attend a protest. There's nothing stopping them from rallying together and planning an official protest with an outlined purpose and organised speakers, similar to what the Macedonians in the diaspora have done time and time again. If a few of the older people and distinguished members of society bothered to turn up, a lot of the hooligans would probably pull their heads in. At least by causing some public disturbances the various ultra groups are bringing to light the seriousness of the issue. They need to know their limits however. If the crowd had managed to cross over into the Saraj district things could've gotten quite nasty.

i think things like this will break the straw off a camels back when ordinary citizens will take up arms &defend their country.Again the rom govt is pussyfooting with the albanians.
I agree with tom that its a pertinent point.

Yesterday the court found the defendant guilty and sentenced him to 14 years.

              Update:
Court of Appeals has rejected the appeal and confirmed his 14 year jail sentence:
