Skopje. Former commander of the National Liberation Army, sentenced for war crimes, was found dead in the prison in the city of Stip on Wednesday, writes Macedonian Vecer daily.
This is 39-year-old Ibraim Sulejman, known as Commander Mimi.
The cause of the death has not been officially confirmed yet but it is supposed that the man died of heart attack.
In 2003 Ibraim Sulejman was sentenced to 15 years in jail for kidnapping four residents of Tetovo. The kidnapped persons were declared dead but their bodies were never found.
