    Peshoshnitsa Lerin,

Are you one of the organisers of this event?

I went to last nights event and i must say it was poorly organized and the turnout wasnt much better, i'd say there were about 250-300 people there compared to last years much bigger turnout

Perhaps people are fed up with the Republic turning into a quasi Albanian nation without a whimper from the Macedonians.

Macedonia celebrates Independence Day Philip II National Arena

                    Macedonians flying the ventilator everywhere
Yet the only one who wasn't afraid to parade the Macedonian 16 Ray Sonce was
                    Esma Redžepova a roma (Gypsy)

Македонската химна испеана од 70.000 грла

The Macedonians originates it, the Bulgarians imitate it and the Greeks exploit it!

Esma is more Macedonian than some Macedonians. Bravo Esma
Стравот на Атина од овој Македонец одел до таму што го нарекле „Страшниот Чакаларов“ „гркоубиец“ и „крвожеден комитаџија“.

I actually like the ventilator, I just hate what it stands for.
                          Esma had the right idea!

As I said in the other thread the celebrations started with two Albanian groups singing in Albanian. The Macedonians came later. I'm glad the majority of that 60,000 Macedonian crowd had to go through that.
