Will we ever find out how many Kosovo born Macedonian citizens live in Macedonia?

The shiptars would spin you a yarn that the majority of the shiptars in macedonia are born and bred, having families that lived there since the dawn of time.
They will also say that perhaps a few hundred kosvars were given macedonian citizenship, and the rest went peacefully back to kosovo.

But anyone with half a working brain can see that a lot of these shiptar trouble makers and warlords in macedonia now are actually from kosovo, and the countless times we see shiptars crossing the border frequently, not to mention news articles in the 90's on how SDSM gave 100,000- 150,000 shiptars macedonian citezenship, and the sudden increase of the shiptar population etc

But the shiptars will always find a way to worm their way out of that tough question

I wonder if they will get a life sentence like the macedonian who recently got that punishment for self defence. Surely if that situation waranted a life sentence then this should be a no brainer as this was unprovoked execution.

Kosovo police detained the remaining two ethnic Albanian suspects wanted for killing five Macedonians in a politically-charged case that raised ethnic tensions.

Police said they had detained Alil Demiri and Afrim Ismailovic, the last two of six ethnic Albanians wanted for trial over the high-profile killings near Skopje, the capital of neighbouring Macedonia, in April 2012.

“The two persons for whom an international arrest warrant was issued were arrested today at about 7pm,” Kosovo police spokesperson Arber Beka told BIRN on Sunday evening.

He said that the suspects would remain in preliminary detention for 48 hours until the prosecutor decides how to take the case forward.

The Macedonian prosecution has pressed terrorism charges against the six men suspected of having organised and committed the murders.

The bodies of Filip Slavkovski, Aleksandar Nakjevski, Cvetanco Acevski and Kire Trickovski, all aged between 18 and 20, were discovered on April 12 last year.

Their corpses had been lined up and appeared to have been executed. The body of 45-year-old Borce Stevkovski was found a short distance away from the rest.

The trial, known locally as the ‘Monster’ case, opened in Skopje in December, while Demiri and Ismailovic were still on the run. The others have pleaded not guilty.

According to the charges, the group wanted to provoke ethnic tensions.

The court case was already coming to a close and the trial was set to resume on Tuesday with closing arguments from the prosecution and defence.

But if the two recently-arrested suspects are extradited to Macedonia, there is a possibility that the trial might have to be restaged.

The arrests on Sunday came after two days of violent protests in Skopje that followed the controversial appointment of a former ethnic Albanian guerrilla as Macedonia’s defense minister.

The protests escalated into clashes with police for a second day on Saturday when ethnic Albanians took to the streets to demonstrate over alleged mob attacks on their kin by Macedonians during a protest on Friday against the defence minister’s appointment.

At least 15 people were injured and at least 15 arrested in Saturday’s clashes, the authorities said.

In 2001, Macedonia went through a short but violent conflict between government forces and ethnic Albanian rebels which ended with the signing of the Ohrid peace accord that granted more rights to Albanians and disbanded the guerrilla force.

Great short documentary about radical albanian islamists in macedonia and the events that happened when the 5 innocents were killed. If you ask me this threat and even the video i posted should be a sticky on this forum. We need to spread the truth on what is happening in macedonia

With this happening and the news of shiptars fighting in Syria macedonia must stop these fanatics.

We no longer have the one internal enemy being the nationalist shiptars, we have another one and that is radical islam.

The country is falling apart because of these internal enemy's and we need to eradicate them

Kosovo to Try Macedonia Mass Murder Suspects

Two ethnic Albanians wanted in Skopje over five killings which raised ethnic tensions in Macedonia are to face trial in neighbouring Kosovo for illegal possession of weapons.

The two suspects that Macedonia wants to extradite over the high-profile murder case, Alil Demiri and Afrim Ismailovic, will go on trial in Pristina on Friday, three months after they were arrested in the Kosovo capital.

“The defendants carried arms without any authorisation, from an unknown date until March 3, 2013,” said the indictment, which has been seen by BIRN.

During their arrest, Kosovo police said they confiscated an automatic gun, a pistol, two hand grenades and 31 bullets.

“They bought the arms, found in the last apartment where they lived, for any eventuality because they understood they could be in danger [of being targeted] by secret services,” the indictment said.

Demiri and Ismailovic could face up to ten years in jail and a fine of up to 7,500 euro if convicted.

Four other ethnic Albanians are already on trial in Skopje on terrorism charges over the killings near the Macedonian capital in April 2012 – known locally as the ‘Monster’ case. All have pleaded not guilty.
Macedonia has sent an extradition request to Kosovo in the hope of also prosecuting Demiri and Ismailovic, who have been on the run since the trial began last December.

The four men on trial were held when police arrested 20 allegedly radical Muslims during an operation last May in several villages around the capital.

Life Sentences Urged in Macedonia Mass Murder Trial

The prosecutor demanded long jail terms for a group of alleged Albanian extremists accused of killing five Macedonians near Skopje in 2012 - a case that sparked ethnic tensions.

Prosecutor Gordana Geskovska told the Skopje court in her closing arguments on Friday that the murder of five ethnic Macedonians by a group of alleged Albanian extremists during Orthodox Easter in 2012 was an act of terror carried out in order to provoke ethnic strife.

Neskoska claimed that message delivered by the killers was: “We shoot on Maundy Thursday so that you will have a bloody Easter. We shoot at young males in order to destroy your faith and nation and the future of the country.”

She said that there was abundant evidence proving the defendants’ guilt, including traces of their car near the scene of the murder, transcripts from their cell phone conversations, testimony from protected witnesses and files on their computers that had references to radical Islam.

Agim Ismailovic, Fejzi Aziri, Rami Sejdi, Haki Aziri and Sami Ljuta are on trial for alleged terrorism in Skopje. Two other suspects in the case, Alil Demiri and Afrim Ismailovic, remain at large.

According to the charges, Alil Demiri and Afrim and Agim Ismailovic committed the murders with automatic rifles, while the others provided logistical support.

“The defendants deny the murder but none of them sent condolences for it. It is too late for that now,” Geskovska said.
