For Macedonians living in Australia.

WARNING:I just received a phone call from a MR Nick Carter (who speaks perfect Indian accent) telling me the government is refunding me over 5 thousand dollars for overpaid bank fees.

But he had to spoil it by asking me to post $199 (after i refused to give my bank details) via Western Union (A dead give away) for "solicitor fees" for fighting the banks on my behalf

He gives out a Australian looking phone number (02 80034140), which automatically redirects to a call center....most likely somewhere in India.

So if you get contacted, You know what to say......give them a big Macedonian serve

I've reported it to Scam Watch, http://www.scamwatch.gov.au/content/.../itemId/693900

That is actually Nicolaos Cartopoulos. He is yet another Greek that is looking to scam money from people that actually work.

Damn, i did hear a musical instrument in the background (sitar) and i immediately thought he was Indian. But now come to think of it, it could be "Nicolaos Cartopoulos" since Greeks also play the "Sitar" and probably claim its a "Greek musical instrument".

Last I heard, they were trying to scam about €14.4 billion by March or they'd run out of welfare money...or something like that. They funniest thing I have read recently is that Greeks are apparantly migrating to Australia - they musn't have heard about our work for the dole scheme.
