Wow we are actually really good at Handball. Two MKD teams in the last 16 of the elite league in Europe. I want to see the day when Macedonian football clubs are participating in the Champions League Group stages.

There are many nice these days to be Macedonian ! They have now done that every Balkanite or to the West said " second-class citizen " feel special , filled with pride ! Handball players Vardar and Metallurgy fellow from Hamburg and KIF Kolding show that money can not buy everything , and that they are not exactly the smartest , best , most beautiful .. , and clearly put them know who else ! Macedonian clubs tonight reminded of the days when the former giant - Metaloplastika ravaged Europe . The more we see the result of Hambruga , increasingly it seems unreal - so " small " club with mountainous Balkans is eliminated HSV , while the other ( Metallurg ) in two matches kicked KIF Kolding . It announced that it could not happen by accident . It was a pleasure to watch your two handball team , which believe it or not the lot of the poor countries are now among the top eight in the Old World . Except you have read the riot act Scandinavians and Germans , provided you guidance and everyone in the region which way to go to make up what many dream of .
But somewhere it was expected that the Macedonian clubs make a " miracle " , because it starts from the Union , and that we have what you learn from you . The organization , terms , money , sponsors , volunteers , the results ... everything you favors . You've done the right strategy , you accept that in other sports can hardly happy nation in the desired extent, " declared " you handball as the number one sport , while the arrival of Russian billionaire Sergei Samsonenko game ball completely brightened . Now even the boss Metalurg Minco Jordan will not pull the hand , although the planned rejuvenation of the team, but will invest as never before .
Skopje currently gives participants fajnl cool the Champions League for the ladies , and two teams among the top eight in the elite competition for handball . With such results can not be proud of any city in Europe .

Just a reminder that in about 2 weeks time the new season of the EHF Champions League kicks off in which Macedonia again has 2 participants - Metalurg and Vardar (this time in different groups).

Metalurg is in Group A together with German champions THW Kiel,French all-star rich club PSG Handball (the handball version of FC Manchester City),Spanish runners-up Naturhouse La Rioja,Belarussian champions Meshkov Brest and Croatian champions HC Zagreb.
Metalurg opens their season at home against PSG on September 28th.

Vardar drew the shortest straw this time as they find themselves in the "group of death" - Group C and will have a tough task of qualifying to the next round.
Including names like Hungarian champions Veszprem,German runners-up Rhein-Neckar Lowen,French champions Montpellier,Russian champions Chekhovskie Medvedy and Slovenian champions Celje Pivovarna Lashko.
They open their season on September 27th away in Slovenia.
