a yes vote for the rep to toe the line is dapitulation to the rulimg party.There is no such thing as a non aligned member they will allways be aligned to something.The present scenario is so undemocratic that you would think twice about voting.Your rep may get in with your vote eg you don't support amnesty for war criminals but unknown to you because they support a particular party they will change their tune.Yyou have no guarantee that the rep you voted will do what you want them to do.Thats the same non guarantee for voting along party lines they can allways chamge their vote."Ido not want an uprising of people that would leave me at the first failure, I want revolution with citizens able to bear all the temptations to a prolonged struggle, what, because of the fierce political conditions, will be our guide or cattle to the slaughterhouse"

I thought I would start up a thread on Australia's elected member of parliament in Macedonia, where we can discuss his scandals ever since he was elected by the few that voted. If there are similar scandals with the North American and the European member please post here too. It is important we discuss what the people that the tiny portion of the diaspora elected are doing.Comment

It is clear that miki is more loyal to Gruevski and Co. then the diaspora I'm Australia he was recently in queanbeyan and denied any acknowledgment of the church dispute which has been ongoing for years now. he has been elected to represent the australian diaspora yet he apparently isn't aware of situations in australiaComment

I think the vwhole thing is ridiculous as the diaspora rep can be manipulated to agree with the ruling party views.So why do they get elected in the first place.I think they must have a platform of what they are going to do for the diaspora & only represent their views.But if they coincide with the ruling party that's ok.But where the views don't coincide the rep should not side with the ruling party they should hold the ,ajority of views of the diaspora.If they don't then that is a let down of the system.
