Macedonian Orthodox Church - News & Updates

i am imagining god sitting around the table in heavn getting his reports on whats happening on the ground on earth. i wonder if he or she takes sides along national lines. all orthodox churches use the same liturgy and ostensibly worship the same god, you wouldnt know it listening to the various leaders of the grik srb i bugarski popoi. why must we sound exactly like those idiots, is it implicit in the faith. sounds like ebi veter to me i dont find any relevance in any religious institutions anymore. they are all a waste of time and effort. our church is wasting its time trying to appease our balkan orhodox bretheren.

It is the ottoman mindset Osiris.
Religion = Identity. There were Raya and Moslems. Than from Raya, everybody wanted independence and fought to make it's own church, so that their Identity will fit to the ottoman mindset. However Churches appeared, that had no historical exitence prior the creation of the national state.
I don't think that God is going on any National line, as the Orthodox Churches are doing. To enquire after the impression behind an idea is the way to remove disputes concerning nature and reality.

If it's ottoman mindset you should praise it like everything else that it's ottoman or ottoman history like most of you do.
Orthodox believers from all countries visit eachother churches and monasteries and light candles and pray.
Most ordinary people dont mix church politics.

Funny how you mentioned the Ottoman Empire, many old people i used to hear and read about say that they had it much better living in the ottoman empire and had more religious and cultural freedom under ottoman rule - then say living in Pirin macedonia, Aegean Macedonia or "Vardar Banovina"..... i think that says a lot about our "orthodox brothers".
But i agree with you, ordinary people dont mix church and politics together and it should be like that. Its a pity those idiots in Grease used the orthodox church as a propaganda tool to transform and mutate albanians, macedonians and vlach into "greeks". And then we have those real good christians from Serbia who used the three finger orthodox salute when killing innocent croats and bosniaks - they pretty much turned the three finger salute into the modern day nazi salute.
God must be real proud of these christians.....

What "kritika" are you talking about?
It's against our teachings to judge and swear against priests and church individuals and against OUR orthodox churches.
I let God judge them, our priests the greek priests. If we dont show respect for our faith I bet no one else will.Слава му на Бога за се

What is your opinion on Vranishkovski? Do you believe the MOC should be independent of all other churches? In the name of the blood and the sun, the dagger and the gun, Christ protect this soldier, a lion and a Macedonian.

And regarding this quote: "When you done half of the things the priests do in orthodox churches"
i have this as an answer if you live like it says in the bible,
Matthew 23:3
"So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach."
Have you heard the story about the good samaritan? it goes something like this,
A man is lieing in the gutter, bleeding and half dead. A preist walks past him on the way to church. The preist sees him but thinks to him self, "oh no i cant stop, i have to get to church other wise god will not be pleased". A few other church oficials and members of the congregation walk by and do the same.
Now a good samaritan walks past. sees this man in trouble, He stops and attends to him. He Thinks to him self, " i will be late for church, i hope my Father will forgive Me".
So who would God look at more favourably? What i am trying to get at, is attending church gatherings with our Macedonian fellowship is important for many reasons. But there is more to it, than just going to church to be a good Christian.http://www.macedoniantruth.org/forum/showthread.php?p=120873#post120873

komita wake up form your religious delusions surely you are smarter than the bullshit witten in most religious texts including the "bible" a politically edited volume of old stories taken from all over the middle east.
as for ordinary people not mixing religion and politics you are joking right, if thats the case why do we have national churches and endless conflict bewteen various christian sects. what century are we living in, this slavish and mainly ignorant view of religion belongs in the dim past, not now.
i suggest you read how the bible was compiled and stop listening to the preists, what would you expect them to say other than support their stories.
the moc may be important as an a ethnocultural influence, my own opinions is that its not, and i cant think of a time when it was.
the reality of the orthodox religion andits relationship to the macedonian people was the patriachists tried to make us greeks the exarchists bulgarian. which one of those was following gods plan.
its not gods word that our preists or any other religions piests preach and never has been, it was about keeping the people dumb subserviant and pliant.
was karvangelis doing gods work, were the inquisitors who evenually crushed the bogomils angels etc etc etc.Last edited by osiris; 01-27-2010, 09:05 PM.

Hahahahahahahaha
You don’t need to go to Church every day, know every passage from the bible or have the passion to kill the evil turk for the great orthodox cause to be a good person. I know plenty of nurses, physiotherapists etc who look after the sick and disabled – people who do much more for the human race then say some fat drunken idiot from the SOC or some short fat hairy black bastard from Solun demanding that ”greeks” should boycott Macedonian casino’s.
You’re a blind srboman fool that has your head so far up your @ss that you cant see the racist things the orthodox leaders in the Balkans have done to people and still do to people. Thanks to your good friends the GOC and the “greek” priests we no longer have many vlach, Christian Albanians and Macedonians in the country of Grease. I call that ethnic cleansing in my book.
In this forum and the maknews forum when ever some one brings up the wrong doings of the “greeks”, Bulgarian slavs and ESPICIALLY the serbs you skirt around the issue and call them a “turk lover”.
Its time you grow some balls and answer some questions “Komita”. Your fist question that you should honestly answer is what SOM asked you about that "priest" in Bitola that the SOC installed to be used as a virus on the poor macedonian people.....
