The Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra hosts September 28-October 3 philharmonic orchestra "Feliks Nowowiejski" from Polish city Olsztyn, which represents a return visit following the tour of the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra in July of last year, and in the framework of the Macedonia-Poland cultural cooperation agreement.
The Olsztyn orchestra will perform in the Army Hall on Thursday, preceded by the opening of an exhibition of Polish artists.
Two more concerts will be held in Bitola (October 1) and Ohrid (October 2), with pianist Stanislaw Drzewiecki as soloist, under the baton of Janusz Przybylski, who is the orchestra's artistic director and chief conductor.
Orchestra "Feliks Nowowiejski" was established 64 years ago, winning a number of awards and recognitions throughout the years.
