Reconstruction of 20 hospitals and Health Clinics in Macedonia

The project will cost 30 million euros and this is the first phase of the rebuilding of the old hospitals and health clinics.

Penalties will be payed if the projects are not completed on time, the contracts have already been signed. Companies from Macedonia,Croatia and Bulgaria will be working.

This is fantastic news, we all know how terrible the hospitals and clinics are at the moment lets hope things change after this.

Jankovska, Very Well said lets hope they can keep their promise of everyone's sake because nobody wants to have terrible hospitals and health clinics in Macedonia. They didnt mention the Kriva Palanka hospital i think that will be in the second phase, but the hospital in Kumanovo is being rebuilt which is good.

OziMak, I've seen those European Banks for Development they give our intrest rates of something like 0.23% it will work very well for us and it will make things easier to pay it off. I see no reason why this cant be achieved, the reason why they didnt do this earlier was because of poor management by the directors and now that the house is in order they can begin to rebuild those projects. Its great news for everybody.

Its good to see Macedonia improving their health care and adding more wings. Big change from 1939 when they only had 9 hospitals and widespread diseases were the cause of alot of deaths. This will deffently improve their health care system and the increase the life expectancy rates for the country
