    Macedonians get Newspaper in Greece

Hopefully this can stick around abit shed some light of the blanket of lies in Egejski.

The first issue of the "New Dawn", a newspaper with articles in Macedonian language, has been published in Greece.

The message of the newspaper is clear: "The times to be afraid are long gone. Our country can no longer hide behind a finger. It has to accept and adjust to developments in other European countries", says daily's staff and its editor-in-chief, Dimitri Joanu.

    - Today is a historic day for the Macedonian movement and for the citizens of Greece wishing a truly European, democratic Greece. The first mass information means containing news, articles and commentaries in Macedonian as well begins to circulate. A language which doesn't officially exist in Greece, however, unofficially over half a million people, mainly in northern Greece, speak or understand the language, reads Thursday's press release sent by the editorial staff of "New Dawn".

"New Dawn" first and foremost is a newspaper that addresses Macedonians who want to stay in touch with their mother tongue, who want to learn it better together with their children and who want to seek their rights, to learn more about their history and culture.

    - "New Dawn" will offer to its readers topics that cannot be found nowhere else. Unknown interpretations of known events that have been deliberately left in the dark for decades, common everyday stories, analyses and viewpoints without masks, dependence and embellishment. This is our testament, says the newspaper's editorial staff.

    Makedoncite se borat
    za svoite pravdini!

"The one who works for joining of Macedonia to Bulgaria,Greece or Serbia can consider himself as a good Bulgarian, Greek or Serb, but not a good Macedonian"

Makedonetz, i am afraid that is pretty old news, the news of the Nova Zora newspaper has been covered on two threads.

This is a truly positive and great news. Nova Zora is the first newspaper in Greece in Macedonian language and it's officaly printed. This is a major step for the Macedonians in Egej, a historical day and let's hope and pray we have many days like this. Почна со раб&

Before you start a thread that might be old news and in this case it was the 6th of may 2010, go up to the top and search for it first.

Anyway well done to the Macedonians in Aegean Macedonia for putting this newspaper together, hopefully it dose last.
    God bless them.
