Good question Prolet but don't you already know??
From the village of P’pezhani, Tashko Popov, Dimitar Popov-Skenderov and Todor Trpenov were beaten and sentenced to 12 years prison. Pavle Mevchev and Atanas Popov from Vrbeni and Boreshnica joined them in early 1927, they were soon after transferred to Kozhani and executed. As they were leaving Lerin they were heard to shout "With our death, Macedonia will not be lost. Our blood will run, but other Macedonians will rise from it"

UMD will be publishing an op-ed on this issue. Please stay tuned.

The State Department, members of Congress, and EU members of Parliament have been informed of our revolt over these racist and derogatory statements.

This will be interesting, particularly since Meto announced in Canberra/Queanbeyan that UMD no longer has a stance on the Framework Agreement...

Bratot, that was about 12 months ago?
Interesting how she spouts that nationalities within the EU are recognised

Does not answer the question, and her body language , arms crossed showed she was not going to answer anything in regard to macedonia

Meto have posted this video today, I didn't even bothered to check the date.

But the question is good, I must say, and I wish more questions and reactions (in public) on their answers are something we all need.

It's a good way to uncover some crucial politics and the Greek tactics of speaking one and doing differently...

This is a disturbing development. The line between UMD and the Macedonian Government has blurred even further. What has become clearer is who UMD serves and represents.

my mother had a saying, sekoy pat pravdina ke izlezi na bela videlo, mozhe odma, mozhe ke zemi vreme, ama tie shto lazhat, ke se fatat na lagata.

I think the the UMD should change their name - it is not the disapora they represent and this is becoming more evident they are representing ROM>
and its also insulting to say they are the leading Macedonian organisation in the diaspora, this is inaccurate and a self proclaimed title.

The signature block is too long and this is an advertising ploy on this forum.

                          Macedonian Genocide

UMD is looking for sources where the Macedonian Genocide from 1800s to the Greek Civil War is documented. Also, any pictures, videos, etc... would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Would you like them to respond to you here or on the info.org link that you refer everybody else to? Just curious.

I would hope, as I was not aware that the ethnocide extended back as far as the 1800’s, that this material could be collected here. I’ve always thought that the Balkan Wars marked the beginning of these hostilities.

The Genocide of Macedonians was going on before the Balkan Wars.

If someone has any sources, pictures, videos, they can post here or send to [email protected] We're trying to collect material to make an exhibition during our Global Conference in Toronto.
