Warsaw NATO summit could invite Macedonia and Montenegro - Polish MoD

03.09. Warsaw (PAP) - Poland would want the next year's NATO summit to invite Macedonia and Montenegro to join the Alliance, Poland's deputy PM and Defence Minister Tomasz Siemoniak said after meeting Defence Minister of Macedonia Zoran Jolevski.

During the Wednesday talks the two ministers also discussed the issue of refugees and prospects for the delivery and modernisation of military equipment.

"The main political topic was the question of an invitation for Macedonia and Montenegro to join NATO," said Siemoniak adding that Poland "would want such invitation to be worded (...)" during the Warsaw summit.

"We believe that Poland, as a beneficiary of an open door policy 16 years ago, has a moral obligation to support further expansion of NATO, especially when it comes to the Balkan states, as we see in this an element stabilising the situation in southern Europe," Siemoniak told PAP.

Siemoniak stressed that Macedonia "is a very active and reliable partner of NATO." It offers logistic support to KFOR operations in Kosovo and takes part in the Alliance's operations, among others in Afghanistan.

The Polish minister stressed that the refugee situation is also a very important problem noting that thousands of migrants cross the Macedonian borders each day. Siemoniak said he briefed his counterpart on the Friday meeting of PMs of the Visegrad Group of states in Prague who will work on proposals of regulations aimed at bringing the situation under control.

Referring to the recent intensification of Polish-Macedonian contacts Minister Siemoniak said there are several reasons behind this process, one of them being Macedonia's interest in closer military cooperation with Poland.

"We talked about our offer in terms of equipment and armament...Macedonians are interested in acquiring (our) APC Rosomak, we also discussed possible overhauls of Russian-made helicopters," the minister added.

Siemoniak said the two also discussed security policy, threats around Europe, the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and the Islamic State.

"We are trying, also in view of next year's NATO summit in Warsaw, to be more active in Balkan politics," noted Siemoniak. He recalled his and Foreign Minister Grzegorz Schetyna's visits to Montenegro, as well as his visit to Bulgaria past Friday.

"It is an expression of interest in this part of Europe, important for the stability not only of the region. This is definitely one of the regions of geopolitical rivalry. I believe that Poland, seen as a very important country, a NATO and EU member, has a big role to play here." (PAP)

The macedonian public was horrified yesterday when it was revealed that an elderly lady in Skopje was molesting a 9 month-old baby that she was hired to babysit.
The paretns first suspected when they noticed several bruises on it's body and decided to place a hidden camera and what they saw shocked them.
They reported the case to the police and after consulting with them (and on policemen's advise) decided to place the footage online for the public to see.
Here it is (warning, some may find the video disturbing):

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

The woman was arrested and is curently in detention.
In a bizzarre twist, the woman's lawyer is now requesting that the footage is excluded as evidence because illegal recordings (in this case, the woman was not informed of a camera recording her) can't be used as legal evidence, just like the court ruled to the tapes of the wiretapping scandal.

The following investigation will be now crucial and the outcome will be used in the proceedings of the wiretapping scandal.
If the court decides to exclude the recording the woman will be set free and subsequently DPMNE's crime will go unpunished.
If it decides to accept it,then the woman will be sentenced and the court will have no other choice but accept the tapes from the wiretapping scandal as evidence.

Greek authorities remove migrants from Macedonia border, give them 30 days to leave the country - source Business Insider.

Greek police rounded up some 2,300 migrants who had been stranded for three weeks at the border with Macedonia and transported them to Athens on Wednesday, dashing their hopes of seeking asylum in northern Europe.
..........so finally we see there is a place called Macedonia that is not Greek!!!

Despite the participation of DPMNE in the mixed commission for the tapping scandal, all people involved in the conversations refused to give their statements regarding the scandal.
The only government representative that did so was Grujo, who asked to testify without presence of journalists or media.
Over the last week (according to the Przino agreement) the people involved in the scandal were supposed to appear before the commission and give their statement.
First, minister Zoran Stavrevski didn't show up.After that neither did Gordana Jankulovska.Same with Sasho Mijalkov and Martin Protuger. All of this within a few days timeframe.

Then at last it was Grujo's turn yesterday. He did show up but insisted his testimony not to be public, that is to have all journalists and media representatives removed from the room.
The media were notified that there will be records and transcripts from the testimony but they will not be made public "for some years" (!?).
The interesting thing is that after he was done he told the press that everything he said to the commission had already been shared with the public through his previous statements regarding the scandal. If that was the case then why did he insisted on testifying behind closed doors? He was afraid that the people might hear something they already did? What kind of explanation is that?

Today it was the ex minister of transport Mile Janakievski's turn on the hot seat and guess what happened again?Another no-show.
Why this game of hide and seek in the first place? Why taking part in the commission if you don't plan to testify at all (or when you do, you do it behind closed doors and the transcripts get to be labeled "top secret" for years to come)? And most importantly,if all the tapped conversations were "manipulated","tampered with" and "cut and stitched to serve someone's agenda" as they said back then, why are they afraid to confirm that in public,if they're innocent as they claim to be?

It was announced now that Zajko will sit on the indictment chair for his bribe case on January 25th.
The court had rejected his lawyer's objections and this case will go in legal procedure.
He's accused of asking for bribe of 200 000 euros for privatisation of state land to a local businessman, for which the prosecution possesses a video footage.

While Macedonians eagerly wait the beginning of arguably the most important judicial processes in it's recent history, the government suddenly decides to raise the salaries of judges and prosecutors?
                  Great timing,people
How about that for a "motivation package" for the holidays?

Its not agood thing as bribery and corruption thrive under those conditions.

The 61 year-old monster babysitter that molested the baby she was babysitting got 10 months in jail, court ruled today.
The video footage that shocked Macedonia a few months back was crucial in the verdict.

Common sense - yes. Justice - I don't know about that.
Not long back, some guy stole 150 kebabs and he got 3 YEARS.
Maybe the court eased on the babicka due to her age,but 10 months for child molesting vs 3 years for 150 kebabs puts the judicial system's double standards out in the open.

Macedonians are very passionate about their kebapi.
                            But that is ridiculous.

As the country moves forward on its EU-supported plan to hold early elections, the boycotting opposition disturbingly appears to be ready for another Hybrid War attempt.

The Republic of Macedonia valiantly fought back a Color Revolution plot May 2015 when tens of thousands of its patriotic citizens came out in public support for their government. Doctored and illegally procured wiretaps had been manipulated by the Soros-affiliated opposition in order to whip the country's most radical pro-Western elements into an anti-government frenzy.

The nascent Color Revolution, also joined by the likes of well-intentioned but naively misguided individuals, dramatically failed, and it was the first time that peaceful, democratic resistance defeated what otherwise would have been a by-the-book regime change success. The security services also played a major role by earlier breaking up an Albanian-affiliated terrorist group that had set up nest in Kumanovo and planned to strike while the country was distracted by the opposition's planned nationwide unrest.

Almost one year later, these same Color Revolution and Unconventional Warfare threats are once more reemerging, albeit in a slightly adapted form and a changed domestic and international context. Nevertheless, the unipolar geopolitical game remains the same.
