    Welcome DA,
yes .... it looks like a (artificially created) crisis is about to happen. And it never is a good thing in Macedonia when this happens because the wrong people get more empowered.

Our enemies have probably got a sniff that the Macedonians are now finally waking up to their legal rights.

May be it sounds strange, but we may need a repsctful King again. A Macedonian one.
Since history showed that only on that kind of rulership Macedonia really prospers.
We don't even need one of those royal blooded, because we are all of royal blood. Therefore we are Macedonians.
And this may also end the name issue, because in a such a case macedonia would call itself "Kingdom of Macedonia"

The world belongs to Macedonia. Macedonia does not belong to the world, especially not to Macedonia's neighbouring countries.

If only Gruevski understood that the support of his people is where the real power of Macedonia rests, some things he does appears to be the opposite of the things he has previously and subsequently done, like the Kosovo recognition, which is still a mystery. Nevertheless, I do believe his intentions for Macedonia are better than many others think, and he has not been pushed into a corner by the ethnic Albanians in Macedonia from a military or terrorist perspective (yet). Anything is possible in our tiny Macedonia.

Gruevski has underwhelmed us Macedonians yet represents Greece's worst nightmare. He obviously won't make us Macedonians completely happy in the interest of diplomacy, but he seems to doing more than others. The influence of Ivanov with his pride in the historic Macedonian identity is a welcome partnership.

The ethnic Albanians in Macedonia deserve everything a minority deserves. However, if they choose not to integrate, they should be sent to Kosovo. I would insist on a simple test with them. If they can speak Serbian but not Macedonian, then I would give them a one way ticket back to Kosovo ..... IMMEDIATELY!

If they speak Serbian then back to Kosovo, if they speak Albanian only and no Macedonian then back to Albania. Unlike Greece, Macedonia has no problems with their minorities receiving education in their own tongues, but as the official state tongue, the language of the host population and majority, Macedonian needs to be taught to everybody.

Seriously, the test is reasonable. Long standing ethnic Albanians in Macedonia know Macedonian very well. Any ethnic Albanians that do not know it are recent arrivals and their attachment to Macedonia must be questioned.
