I am trying to keep you people here.
But you are so damn unlikeable.
If your logic is compelling, then you will remain.
If you just whinge, what is your purpose for being here?

Ok, I'm awake. And I see the old "hiding" card has been used on me. Oh well.

Well I just woke up after good night sleep and when I got to this forum I see TB saying I'm hiding, presumably because I'm not answering his last post, which I couldn't do because I was sleeping. This trick is used by people who don't really understand the works of forum discussions. I could have been killed for example but he would accuse me of running away from the discussion.

Exactly. I guess when you discuss with Greeks you cannot afford that luxury.

You actually are asking me to be allowed to be "gutterful" in a thread.

You make the assumption that we Macedonians care about your opinions at the best of times.
                  This is not Oprah.
Greeks respecting and being nice to Macedonians can go a long way. It has rarely been seen.

Halkidiki - From Thessaloniki all the way to Ierissos you will find only Greek speakers all Dopious. Galatista, Polygyros, Arnea, Megali Panagia all native Greeks.

Small pockets? i dont think so. Greeks were the majority in what is today Greek Macedonia.

All these places mentioned the people are not Bilingual . Greek was their only language, spoken with an accent different from Greeks to the South.

A governor is a colonial term.

We were the minority, and so were you. There was no overall majority in Macedonia back then. You are barely a majority in your own country even today, after you received so many people who got expelled from Greece...

                                Are you sure?

                                Let's check the facts:

[edit] Ottoman census of Hilmi Pasha for the region of Macedonia (1906)
Muslims (Turks and Albanians) 423,000 (41.71%)
                                Greeks 259,000 (27.30%)
                                Bulgarians 178,000 (18.81%)
                                Serbs 13,150 (1.39%)
                                Others 73,000 (7.72%)

No matter how you read or interpert the facts, the relative majority were the Muslims. The situation changed because of the population exchanges when the Muslims left for Turkey - no doubt about it - but still, this majority that you speak of is imaginary by all means.
