    Too much of the good food for phoenix either the missus or his mum feed him well & there's one way to go is horizontal.It's gonna take along time before this phoenix flies as he's got lose some kilos.Also how is he going to play the guitar??With all that weight.
    You know that reminds me a lot of arabic wods like meze is used & we uses it as well.

      FFS it's a Stipski dish..

      That's why all of you diaspora Bitolcani, Lerinchani, Prilepchani, Ohrigjani etc haven't heard of it.

      I was born in Stip so I know of it. It's yummy!

                    From what I understand this dish is considered a local specialty on the eastern side of Macedonia. The similarity to Turkish Pide is very clear. I myself didn't know about the existence of this Macedonian version until last year, when one of my cousins married a guy from Štip and told me about it.

                        I heard you can get frozen burek,you can get it from your local deli importers not very expensive,all you do is just heat it up.

                            As I said,I don't have a doubt that it has Ottoman elements,but so do burek,baklava,etc. and they're pretty popular in Macedonia,i bet Macedonians eat more burek per person that an average Turkish dude

                                Whils't i have seen the frozen i haven't tried it as frsh is bestThe only place that i have eaten burek to be good is either in Resen or Bitola.Everywhere else something is not right.I think usually the pastry or too much oil ?? something is not right.Where it's made right i could eat a burik in two to 3 minutes as it's tasty & nice.
