I am blonde and blue eyed HOWEVER
1. My grandparents and my dad's side from RoM - baba had hazel eyes, dedo had blue eyes. Their 7 children that survived infancy were a mixture of brown, blue and green eyed children. NONE were blonde, brown hair, auburn and black hair. Skin colour was a combination of fair, and average colouring, quite non descript

My grandparents on my mum's side from Egejska makedonia
baba - blue eyes, blonde hair and very fair skin
dedo - OLIVE SKINNED, BROWN eyes, dark hair.
4 children had brown eyes, 2 green eyes, blue eyes

2. My children (am getting to the point)
eldest son - light green/blue eyes, fair skin, straight brown hair
middle son - hazel eyes, curly black hair, olive skinned
youngest son - hazel eyes, black hair, dark olive skin

Nothing wrong with being proud of your Race, colour or religion. Its a good thing.

But hating someone elses is the real problem. You can't be a racist for loving yours as long as you don't hate or wish another's to disappear, which is what many greeks think towards us Macedonians.

Bill, I don't think it is racism what you describe above, though there might an element of it underling the national chauvinism of Greeks, Bulgars, Ghegs, Serbs and their international imperialist backers. Europeans all belong to the same "Caucasian" race designation and thus the hatreds are more national chauvinistic than racist.

why are we going around in circles here ? Is it a lack of tolerance ? you cant use one example and one incident in a school yard and blame an entire race of people . Especially if is a provoked action . There is good and bad in all and that includes macedorians . Labelling all muslims as bad reeks of racial discrimination . There are ways of dealing with school yard incidents without violence its about educating those around us and we will not be heard by inciting negative actions . Dimko this is not flower power . Truthfully, I would be sad.

One need only read the comments in this forum and on various Macedonian Online news article comments sections by Macedonians in regards to the Greek economic crisis to realise that many would be happy if HellAss collapses economically and politically. Those are just raw and natural instincts expressed in emotional and unguarded moments scenarios. Sure, one can be PC and say they would be sad, and some may truly be so, but, IME, a good majority would be glad if HellAss (and not only her!) was no more! :-)
