New Liberal Party holds founding assembly

Founding assembly of the New Liberal Party was held in Prilep on Sunday. Zoran Krstevski was unanimously elected leader, who said that the true liberal option in Macedonia has been created.

"We are neither left nor right, but a liberal political option. Liberalism in Macedonia is born again", said Krstevski.

He stated that the party supports the reform course of the incumbent government, whereas a coalition is expected.

The party will mainly focus on the economy, but also on the lustration law and fight against organized crime.

Pertaining to the name issue, the New Liberal Party would not give up the country's constitutional name.

"If there are 120 friends worldwide recognizing us under our constitutional name, this is the enormous benefit that should be promoted by the current leadership", underlined Krstevski.

The party statute and program were adopted, followed by election of the republic and supervisory boards.

These guys ought to know that the policy of Western Europe for the better part of a century has been to "eradicate" the Macedonians whom they consider to be "the cause" of all problems in the region.
