![]() Here is an interesting map showing the area which is inhabited by ethnic Macedonians, the map is from the Greek Civil war.

![]() Was this map used by the Partizans as a basis for identifying territories that should be liberated from Greek-occupation?
It is interesting where Stefan Verkovich claims that the area around Thessaly is the point which separates the Slav and Greek worlds. I guess by 1946, anybody around those parts would have been under severe pressure to be Neohellenized and would have lost their native culture after decades of racist assimilation.
