Default Scanning English-language works on Macedonian history?

Hello, I'm part of a project which, among other things, scans works from Eastern European countries put out in the 1960s-80s. There are a number of books originating from Yugoslavia in English translation which have to do with Macedonian history, such as A History of the Macedonian People (1979), Yugoslav-Bulgarian Relations: 1941-1945 (also from 1979), The Macedonian Orthodox Church: The Road to Independence (1973), The Constitutional Development of the Socialist Republic of Macedonia (1980), etc.

While myself and others are purchasing other books from other countries, I am wondering if anyone here may be willing to assist us in this endeavor by obtaining and scanning those works, or buying them and sending them to members of our project to scan. Copyright is presumably no longer an issue.

Here are two books (totally unrelated to Macedonia, of course) which I've scanned, to get an idea of the quality of my scans: example #1, example #2 (both are links.)

As an aside (I post it here since it's from the same period as the books I'd like to obtain and scan), there's a 1970s Great Soviet Encyclopedia entry on Macedonia (its history, economy, etc.) which can be found here (it's the entry with a "warning" that it may be biased on top of it, just scroll down a bit to find it.)

With a name like "Ishmael", I wonder what your background is and what your interest is in Macedonia?

And how are you defining Eastern Europe?

What is the criteria in determining this?

I wouldn't mind an answer to these questions as well!

I like the name, it has no other significance. My own interest in Macedonia is in relation to the fate of Yugoslavia during WWII and the rise of resistance movements against the oppressive regimes of Germany, Italy, Bulgaria, Greece, etc.

By "Eastern Europe" I have in mind Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, the former Yugoslav republics (including Macedonia of course), etc. It's a "catch-all" term, I don't mean to be precise when using it.

What about Romania, Albania, and Greece?

I sense your definition of "Eastern Europe" is political.

Let's face it. Greece is more eastern Europe than Macedonia, geographically speaking, but no one ever puts Greece in the Eastern Europe category.

Macedonia may be considered southern Europe or south eastern Europe, but it is not "Eastern Europe".

You should be more precise when you use it.
