Dear Mr. Minister-President:

Some time ago, the newspaper "Nova Makedonija" dated October 4, 1945 was received here. In which we will read the reply that you sent on behalf of the People's Government of Macedonia to the Macedonian political organizations in the USA and Canada regarding the congratulatory telegram sent to you on behalf of the 24th Annual Congress of the M.P.O. born September 2-3, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan.
Your reply was filled with a sense of joy for all our patriotic exodus to this continent. He would be at the head of the success of all of Macedonia, he brought it to everyone.

The Central Committee of the M.P.O. I gladly accept your invitation to come there; a delegation of representatives of the M.P.O. on this continent. The difference is that it will greatly contribute to strengthening the relationship between Vardar Macedonia and the Macedonian patriots. We can assure you, Mr. Minister President, that at the first opportunity a delegation will leave here for Vardar Macedonia. We will inform you about the exact time of the last departure; complementary.

Currently M.P.O. is at the head of campaigns to collect aid for refugees from Aegean Macedonia, which are sent to the Yugoslav ambassador in Washington - Stanoe Simic - who in turn forwards them to Mr. Emanuel Tsuchkov, Minister of Macedonia, in Belgrade.

Accept the expression of our great esteem for you.

Вашиот одговор се престретна со чувство на радост од целата наша патриотска емиграција на овој континент. Тој се издаде на почетната страница на нашиот весник, ''Македонска Трибуна''. Тој внесе горда и жива вера за успех на целокупна Македонија помеѓу сите.

Централниот комитет на М.П.О ја прима со радост вашата покана за да дојде таму една делегација од претставници на М.П.О. на вашиот контитент. Нема сомнеж, дека тоа ќе допринесе многу да се зацврсти уште по здраво врската помеѓу Вардарска Македонија и овдешните македонски патриоти. Може да ве увериме, г-н премиер, дека при првата можност од овде ќе тргне делегација за Вардарска Македонија. Прецизно, за времето на нејзиното тргнување ќе ве известиме дополнително.

Во моментов М.П.О. води кампањи за собирање помош за бегалците од Егејска Македонија, кои се испраќаат до југословенскиот амбасадор во Вашингтон - Станое Симиќ - којшто од своја страна ги испраќа до г-дин Емануел Цучков, министер за Македонија, во Белград.

Below is from the MPO’s (Macedonian Patriotic Organization) 1925 Articles of Incorporation in the State of Indiana. When the organisation was created the founders clearly identified as Macedonians as a separate race. The founders were well aware that Macedonia was both an ancient state and separate nation.

MPO always advocated for a free and independent Macedonia however there were some elements such as the Georgi and Pando Mladenov faction.

From my research and understanding of the MPO, the confusion occurred from the hand picked individuals than were sent to the U.S from Bulgaria.

Individuals such as Petar Nizamov who was a long-time editor of the Macedonian tribune (41 Years).

The misconception of what was published in this paper would give the average Joe the view that the entire organization was Pro Bulgarian, it is only when you delve a little deeper you can see that this was not the case overall.

The MPO advises Kiro Gligorov back in 1992 to categorically reject the suggestion by the European community that the name of Macedonia be changed.
