Speaking of patriotic songs, " Egejska maka" & " Car Makedonski" make my blood boil.
I love these songs..
Also, on YouTube, there's alot of old patriotic songs from Pirin and Egej that are very powerful and performed in their dialect.
Does anyone remember the song: Se sorbrale, se stepale Makedoncite, se stepale so Grcite ???

Was that you filming while the shots were firing outside the window? Sorry to derail thread, I will transfer to the relevant thread later.

Very uplifting even for a non-Macedonian

Well..the video on the floor is filmed by me. It is actually just across the border in Austria, Radgona(Radkersburg). My mother,father and I went to Slovenia to celebrate the independence but got stuck for some time in Murska Sobota because Yugoslav army cut of access fromPrekmurje to any other part of Slovenia. After MUCH deliberation, it wasnt an easy decision, we decided to go over to the Austrian side when after the border post had been seized by Slovenian army. We settled in a hotel just a few 100 metres from Slovenia as we wanted to be close anyway. The fighting that erupted just across the border was one of the heaviest in the warlike situation in Slovenia. On the video u see my father listening to the Slovenia news on the radio (with my mother just behind me). it was pure chance that i filmed just as the fighting broke out and we soon, as can be seen, all of us ended up on the floor
