Onur, I remember the Northen Cypriot Football team protested naked once.

Bill, I know Germanos there are stores all over Skopje i've been to many of them, they are not bad actually they sell house phones, mobile phones, play station 3 etc They are in a partnership with One (Formally Cosmofon)

We cant blame all the Greeks for this, there are some very good people from there and i know that the people in Greece are getting sick and tired from this crap. I feel sorry for the parents of the young kids from Greece who's kids wernt given a chance to represent their country just because their delegate thought he could play god and blackmail our people in our own country.

Thanks for the correction Bill77 on the name but sadly they do know its Greek at least I don’t know if there is anything more behind the name.

When I mentioned this to the people I was with their sole reaction was So what if they are Greek. They are cheaper and they have the latest phones to which I replied only yesterday I saw the exact same phone in MobiMak for slightly more in price. The stupidest thing is they initially took my statement to mean I was confirming they were right until I later added so you would sell your self and everything you are for a fraction of the price.

I cannot remember the price now but the difference was really marginal. I find it funny how quick Macedonians are to feel sore when you point out the truth to them. I don’t know which part hurt them most
      1. the fact they were they were supporting the very people that were trying to destroy them or
      2. they were playing dumb or actually were too dumb to realise this or
      3. how little the difference was and hence how cheaply they were selling themselves.

Do you know if they have borrowed the name for their store out of Greek pride in being a leader of the Greek revolution against the ottomans and hence a funny play on words as spearheading an economic attack against the Slav invaders or are the owners related to the religious guy.

Some interesting information on this store

      Founded in 1980
Germanos S.A operates specialized chain stores for telecommunications goods and services in Europe. The company operates in two segments, Chain of Stores and Consumer Product Distribution Network. The Chain of Stores segment offers mobile phone models, fixed telephony goods and services, and Internet options, as well as offers digital technology goods and services. As of December 31, 2006, it operated 645 stores in Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, and Former Yugoslavic Republic of Macedonia. The Consumer Product Distribution Network distributes and promotes telecom products to supermarket chains, groups of companies, retail outlets, department stores, wholesalers of general merchandise, foodstuffs..

Germanos SA announced earnings results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2009. For the quarter, the company reported revenues of €256.9 million compared to €265.2 million for the same period a year ago.

Romania, Bulgaria, and Former Yugoslavic Republic of Macedonia.

With two years-exclusion from European competitions and a fine of 10,000 euros sanctioned by the European federation handball team of Alexander Giannitsa its decision to withdraw from the Games of the second round of the Challenge Cup women who held the town Prilep, Macedonia.
        Translated with google.

Greeks did something similar in Prilep and were punished for this behaviour of theirs, but it seems they are so stupid they cannot learn the lesson!

What a disgraceful act. Another example of a crazy deluded state. The kids are innocent, but not for long because they breed them young.

I wonder how many of their parents come over the border to do their shopping or visit the local cafini.

Honestly I wouldn’t count Greece as part of the civilized world.

it's so unprofessional they should be banned until they change their attitude.Macedonia should refuse to play with them!!

I hope those Greek kids remember that day, because it was a day that their own hatred (or hatred expressed unwillingly on their behalf) led them to be excluded from an international event. Because it was such a drama, they will continue to replay it in their minds and wonder why.
