A document from the Greek Secret Service, dating back to 1982, exemplifies the methodical steps Athens took to destroy Macedonian ethnic conscious as well as the “idiom” within its territory.


The plan had been drafted on February 16, 1982, by the Chief of the Greek Secret Service, Dimitris Kapelaris.

According to the plan, Athens had created a Secret Team nicknamed “Plot Against Macedonia” that was dispatched to Aegean Macedonia and infiltrated into all aspects of public life: (Tax office, Schools, Army, Church, etc). This is the period when a lot of Macedonians were followed, jailed, fired, beaten, for publicly stating they were Macedonians, not realizing they were being spied on at every level.

The Greek Secret Service also had plans for Florina (Lerin) residents who failed to “feel Greek”, and feared may succumb under local Macedonian influence. As a solution, the Secret Service proposed to give these people money, brainwashing literature, and creating a cultural organization named “ARISTOTELIS”. A brilliant plan, that ought to make them “Greek”! The magnitude, the sheer stupidity and lunacy of these people is remarkable.
Dimitris Kapelaris took a moment to congratulate the Secret Service for managing to ‘almost’ wipe out the Macedonian conscious and the ‘idiom’ in Kastoria (Kostur).
The Greek Secret Service despised the fact that Macedonians marry only Macedonians in Greece, and made plans how to mix marriages, so the Macedonians would loose their ethnicity.
Were they trying to create more of the Karamanlis type? Their plan backfired, to this day Macedonians in Greece marry Macedonians.

1982, the year of this letter, is also the year Athens implemented laws banning Macedonian refugees from returning to their properties - Not a coincidence.

INTRODUCTION
a) The Skopians’ activities for the autonomy of Macedonia may be efficiently confronted mainly by wiping out the use of the idiom, in the regions near the borders. This opinion is based on the realizations that also other regions that in older times were center of “Macedonism”, like Kastoria, are no hit by the Skopian propaganda, because there the use of the idiom has been almost wiped out.

b) This element by itself would be enough to exclude any thoughts of repatriation of the P/R (political refugees) who now reside in Yugoslavia and who have been brought up with the “Macedonian idea”, the “Macedonian language and culture”, independently of their participation or not to the organizations SNOF, NOF and activities take for detaching Greek territories during the period 1946-1949

c) As for evidence it is imperative to:
1. The creation of a state institution that will depend from the Prefectures of the regions near the borders, lined with the suitable and specially trained to the “Plot against Macedonia” subject, personnel.
This institution will engage itself only with this subject, with the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and will collaborate closely, but in secret with the Security Authorities and all the Public Services (Tax office, Schools, Army, Church, etc)
2. In the public services and especially in the educational institutions the employees who will be in service have to be ignorant of the local idiom.
3. The establishment of special enlightenment seminaries, for all the public service employees and the clergy who are in service in the sensitive region of Macedonia.
4. The establishment of motivations for the obligatory residence of the public servants and other employees, in the quarters of their service (example: payment of the rent, extra pay, etc.)
5. Establishment of the Cultural Association, like “ARISTOTELIS” in Florina and economic help to them, for the realization of events and the publishing of books, newspapers, magazines, etc. And afterwards these will be sent to the Diaspora abroad who has origins from the regions of the senders. This will boost their national sentiment and they will be protected from the anti-Hellenic propaganda that is been practiced by S/M (Slavmacedonians) organizations.
6. Insertion of various obstacles (non-recognition of diplomas, postponement of military service, etc.) for the Greek students who wish to study in Skopje.
7. Marking in each village of persons who due to their kin bounds and their personality influence a large circle of co-villagers and with any means (even with money payments) get close to them and use them properly so they will behave as the fighters of the use of the idiom in their circle. To this direction a very positive and effective role can be that of the Younger of the political parties, by the judgement and coordination of the Government, when a between parties agreement will be reached.
8. Recruitment in the Armed Forces, in Police Bodies in the public services and Organisations of employees with origins from Florina region, by exception, and their obligatory location in other areas of the country.
9. The encouragement, by the leadership of the Army of meetings and marriages of Army officers, who are on duty, there and have origins abroad, with women that speak the idiom.

Greece has been attempting to wipe out the Macedonians since 1912 when it illegally confiscated and occupied Macedonian land. The culmination is today by requesting Macedonia change its name.

Because of disagreements between Greek Political parties in Parliament, they all had to agree under Greek law for attack to occur, explains Petrov, the Athens military aggression on Macedonia was not ordered and it transformed into a military exercise near the Macedonian border called “Alexandros 92” (using the name of the Macedonian warrior for the first time.)
“Contrary to all standards, and Copenhagen criteria, under which is forbidden to have military exercise at the border, rather it must be done deep within a country's territory, Greece did not inform Macedonia on it even though it must inform not just Macedonia, rather all neighboring countries. Macedonia was not invited to analyze nor see the results of the exercise. However, during the Greek exercise there was a non-neighbor, Serbian Military Delegation present. This is in time when Slobodan Milosevic, and Mitsotakis (the father of current FM Dora Bakoyannis) signed an agreement in London to split Macedonia”, says Petrov.
The World Macedonian Congress requests an explanation from Athens and Brussels, “what neighborly relations are asked of Macedonia as a criteria for EU and NATO, when a military aggression from Athens is an act of war and an assured entrance into regional destabilization. Isn't this contrary to good neighborly relations?”
At the same time, the WMC is asking the Macedonian Government, EU as well as NATO to make an investigation into Athens meddling in Macedonia's elections, because of, as the WMC points out, outrageous sums of money paid to a political party to create incidents and irregularities at the elections with the goal of destabilizing the country and its progress towards the EU and NATO, under the auspicies the country is not free and democratic to enter these organizations.
“It must be taken into account Ali Ahmeti's visit to Athens six months ago and his meeting with Dora Bakoyannis and Karamanlis. There are indications the agreement to cause incidents and irregularities happened on this visit."
WMC accuses Brussels and Strasbourg for double standards against Macedonia and considers the Greek Veto as an unfriendly act, contrary to the good neighborly politics and regional stability.
“The name for Macedonia is an internal problem for the European Union and NATO, and they must solve this with Athens. Macedonians aren't giving up on EU or NATO, and will continue with their reforms not because of EU and NATO, rather because of themselves. Macedonia will enter these organizations when Brussels and Strasbourg will take care of the greek genocide and antimacedonianism in Athens, i.e. when they will publicly accept Macedonia without the additions or adjectives, Macedonian language, culture and the Macedonian Orthodox Chirch, which are historically, the foundations of Europe.
In the wake of UN Negotiator Matthew Nimetz's visit on Skopje, the World Macedonian Congress with a view that “the name is closed with the referendum of 8 September 1991, when all of our citizens voted for independent Macedonia.”

Since 1991 when the Republic of Macedonia declared its independence from Yugoslavia Greece has been acting kind of strange. For example it has been saying Macedonians don´t exist, Macedonia is Greek, Skopjans have territorial pretensions on the so-called "Greek-Macedonia", Skopjans are trying to steal Greek history and so on. We all know that most of what the Greeks are saying is not possible but none the less Greeks are still saying them but are we interpreting them correctly?

When the Greeks say "Macedonians do not exist" what do they really mean?

If Macedonians don´t exist then what are the majority of people who live in the Republic of Macedonia? We have been thinking that the reason Greece says Macedonians don´t exist is to cover up the fact that Greece does not want the world to know that Macedonians live in Greece. But what if that is not all the Greeks are saying?

When the Greeks say "Macedonia is Greek" what do they really mean?

We all know 51% of geographical and historic Macedonia was annexed by Greece in 1913 and no one has any doubt that Greece has a pretty strong grasp on it today. So when Greeks say Macedonia is Greek do they really mean the part of Macedonia they already have is Greek or 49% of the part they don´t have is Greek? When the Greeks say Macedonia is Greek we think they mean the part they already have but what if we are wrong and the Greeks really mean the part that they don´t have, especially the Republic of Macedonia? Besides why would they say anything about a part that is already Greek?

When the Greeks say "Skopjans have territorial pretensions on the so-called Greek-Macedonia what do they really mean?

As JS Gandeto puts it in his article "Anatomy of a bankrupt ideology" published in the American Chronicle on November 11th, 2008 at this link; http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/81091 "For example they [Greeks] claim that Republic of Macedonia, with 7,000 lightly armed soldiers, has territorial aspirations towards Greece with more then 250,000 soldiers armed with the latest military hardware, purchased from Russia and France with European dollars, when in fact it was the Greek army displaying her military might by holding military exercise in Northern Greece where the predominant population of the region is ethnic Macedonians". We say that´s impossible! But what if the Greeks really want to annex the Republic of Macedonia and are using this as an excuse, a pretext if you like to strike at Macedonia first presumably before Macedonia becomes powerful and strikes at Greece first?

The above mentioned Greek claims may not mean much separately and one by one but when you put them together then a pattern begins to emerge.

If I were selfish and well versed in "Greek logic" I too would not be beyond in thinking along these lines.

So what does this really mean?

The way I see it today Greece is at the crossroads of its existence. The rebirth of a Macedonian state has placed it in an awkward position. It´s only a matter of time before the world finds out that the creation of the Modern Greek state was based on a myth and at the expense of other ethnic groups; one being the Macedonians. If Greece recognizes the existence of a Macedonian ethnic state and a Macedonian ethnic identity its own fabricated identity will unravel. So Greece has two choices; (1) allow itself to fall apart, which I am sure is unacceptable to Greece or (2) take measures to prevent its secret from being discovered. Time will tell which way this will go but we cannot preclude the possibility that Greece will not give up without a fight. My guess is Greece will attempt to save itself by endeavoring to silence the Macedonian people.

Its first attempt at silencing the Macedonian people, which is currently ongoing, is to prohibit them from naming their state Macedonia. Greek logic dictates that if there is no Macedonia there can be no Macedonian ethnic identity! Thus the reason for the so-called "name dispute".

Failing that Greece will attempt to annex the Republic of Macedonia (Mitsotakis almost did it if only Milosovich agreed) and do to the Macedonian people there as it did to the Macedonian people inside Greece by first prohibiting them to speak their Macedonian language and then by renaming every Macedonian person´s name and every place-name with Greek names. Several generations later the Republic of Macedonia will be Greece and inhabited by pure Greeks, descendents of the Ancient Greeks. Greece is an expert on doing this. It has done it before and it will do it again. Those who don´t agree with Greece´s policy can leave and go to Canada, the USA and Australia. But before Greece attempts to exercise this option I hope it will remember the outcome of its first attempt at the "Megali idea". Then it lost the war and the lands it never had but this time it may lose more.

Desperate people will do desperate things at desperate times and some Greeks are not beyond that! So what are we to do?

One thing we can do is be very vigilant and never take things for granted, even when they sound ridiculous.

TIRANA, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- Macedonia's Foreign Ministry expressed on Thursday the country's concern over the claim by a Greek clergyman who said that parts of Macedonia belonged to Greece and should be returned.

Anthimos, Greek Orthodox Church Metropolitan bishop of Thessaloniki in northern Greece, has called for a campaign to wrestle away from Macedonia the area of Bitola, 180 kilometers south of capital Skopje, saying it belonged to Greece.

"It is disturbing to hear the Metropolitan's extremist speech, "Macedonia's Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The statement pointed out that Anthimos is a top religious figure in northern Greece, and that he wielded a big influence on Greek political scene.

The foreign ministry said that it expects the Greek authorities to "immediately and unequivocally condemn such speech, which pose an indirect threat to the territorial integrity of Macedonia."

Greece has been opposed to the name of the Republic of Macedonia since the country broke away from Yugoslavia in 1991.

Greece says the name of Macedonia implies a claim the tiny western Balkan country on the northern Greek province of Macedonia and could destabilize the region.

Instead, it asks Macedonia to use the name of "Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" or FYROM, in short, under which the country joined the U.N. in 1993.

It may be Greece makes contingency plans if NATO disintegrates possibly reopening the Serbia-Greece partition of ROM. Turkey is no position to do anything for ROM and would most likely side with Albania and even there its influence is weakened. Realistically, Turkey could put pressure on the Thrace where Greece has most of its heavy forces and a thin strategic reserve which would take forces away from those that could be used against ROM which would have to be rushed into the fight with Turkey. The Greeks would also have to use most of their air force against Turkey in the Aegean and Cyprus. At most I think Greece could deploy a mixed light corps against ROM which would be about 25 000 men and equipment, systems etc.They have a very decent air force. Most likely Greece would drive its forces as far as Bitola to capture the Bitola Gap a critical strategic area while Serbia would aim to capture the North(that would mean it would have to recapture Kosovo and move all the Albanians into Albanian proper). Also, Greece has already has forces in Albania, Kosovo and I think also ROM as part of NATO missions. If NATO were to disintegrate thats a real possibility for a partition. Obviously, ROM could not defend itself against such forces hence it would seek an outside protector. Up until now that has been NATO and the US which also forced the Ohrid Agreements on ROM. Russia and Bulgaria seem questionable also. The only option I can think of is the Cold War option of Albania's Hoxha, to align with China, or wild cards like Croatia and Hungary. If ROM had to fight alone it would be more realistic to fight a Lebanon style guerilla war. I think that Greece made its "strategic economic zone" claims recently I'll try to find the maps. Of course for this to happen all the structures around NATO, G-7, EU would have to start collapsing. Of course as we all know those structures are in a systemic crisis at the moment.

Планот за окупација на Македонија во деведесеттите години од минатиот век од страна на нејзините соседи и идејата за грчка „тампон-зона“ од 2001 година, која предвидува воено навлегување во нашата држава во длабочина од најмалку 40 километри од заедничките граници, чии делови ги има во лустрациското досие на битолчанецот Николче Бабовски, не се автентичен продукт на Атина, туку на Слободан Милошевиќ, тврди за „Нова Македонија“ грчкиот новинар и аналитичар Такис Михас.

- Кога ја пишував книгата, заклучив дека сепак вистината за овој акт е многу покомплицирана. Постојат сѐ повеќе докази што ме наведоа на заклучок дека влијателни политички сили во Грција во раните 1990-ти во своите македонски соседи гледаа многу повеќе отколку земја што треба да го промени своето име. Вистинската цел на некои инстанци во Грција беше дестабилизација и исчезнување на тогашната нова држава - појаснува Михас.

Проверувајќи ги официјалните владини документи, тој утврдил дека грчките политичари инсистирале врз која било основа, па дури и воено да се притисне Македонија, за земјата да го промени своето име, да не ги употребува своите симболи и проблематичната историја.
Во суштина, вели Михас, тие денови активно се работеше на тактика што требаше да доведе до распад на државата Македонија, така што ќе се отвореше патот на воена интервенција и проблемот ќе беше надминат.

Она што го забележал аналитичарот е дека Самарас не само што не ја одбил идејата, туку се нафатил да му ја пренесе и елаборира на грчкиот премиер.
- Во тоа време постоеше такво расположение во Грција што дури 80 проценти од нашата јавност, колку лудо и да изгледа, би ја прифатиле армиската интервенција во Македонија - истакнува аналитичарот.

За работите дополнително да се влошат, по средбата на Самарас и Милошевиќ на 10 мај 1991 година, грчката влада излегува со „податок“ дека во Македонија постои големо грчко етничко малцинство, кое е репресирано, а тоа беше визата за да се почне акција во 1990-тите години, објаснува новинарот.
Познавачот на проблематиката потцртува дека на 2 ноември истата година заменик-министерката Виргинија Цудеру објави дека во Македонија живеат 150.000 Власи со чиста грчка свест и работите беа подготвени да ескалираат.
- За среќа, во тој период во Македонија и во Грција по добри разузнавачки информации интервенираат дипломатите на САД. Паралелно со политичкиот притисок Американците низ Македонија распоредуваат своја војска, и така всушност пропаѓаат плановите за грчко-српска воена интервенција во вашата држава - резимира Михас.

Greece is definitiley a wrecker of nato.It doesn't put the same effort as other nato countries only a bare minimum.Being a memmber of nato hasn't altered its whacky stance on macedonia.It says macedonia has got irrendist claims when it's the other way around.
The greeks have allready salivated over macedonia.Also the idea that keep them ignorant & keep them down & feed them on bs is obvious as it prevents macedonia to acceession to either eu or nato.How rediculous it tries to prevent us from using OUR own symbols OUR own name does that sound right.?
