Two items:

1. Bulgarian knez (later tzar) Ferdinand at a meeting with Serbian diplomat Vladan Georgevich in 1896, among other things, said: "In Macedonia the main population are neither Bulgarian nor Serbian ... we should together work ... for reforms in Macedonia which would ensure human life and cultural developement...."

2. Prof. Ivan Shismanov (1862-1928), minister in the Bulgarian govt in 1903 met French journalist Gaston Rutier(?). Rutier in 1904 published a book "La question macedonien...." in which he reports a conversation with Shismanov: "...in ten years if Macedonia becomes authonomous there will be no Bulgars, Serbs or Greeks, there will be only Macedonians...hence Macedonia will remain indipendent and the Macedonians will remain Macedonian. If Europe thinks differently then it errs greatly; if Bulgaria counts on the bulgarization of Macedonia it will remain a great illusion..."

I meant to ask what chance there is of having someone find these actual original documents, in whatever national archive or library they may reside, and scan them so that we may put them online.

I guess it could be done. The finds are actually not mine. They were discovered by one of our most renowned historians Vancho Georgiev. He recently published a small brochure about this as well as an extremely interesting book about Dame Gruev.

Since the Macedonian public are generally not aware about all the historical jewels that you guys have collected here I'm planning to produce a series of video clips presenting all the historical evidence for TV Sonce (www.tv-sonce.com)

Well, for starts you can send me the ones that you made already and I'll broadcast them with you as a producer.
