Golem the Albanian chieftan?

Golem? There is a poor mountain village in southern Albania called Golem as well. Golem, as far as I know, has no meaning in Albanian. Correct me if I am wrong please. As far as I can tell this "Golem" chieftan was not an Albanian per se. If anyone can post some sources about this Golem character it would be appreciated.
