When I read articles like this, it often brings to mind the words of Karev, we were a people who were drowning, even if a Turk reached out his hand to help we would grab it. We saw how quick our Bulgarian hand of 'friendship' disintegrated after WWII, all the propaganda in the world cannot erase the evils that Bulgaria has bestowed upon the Macedonian people, and both Bulgaria and Serbia are equally to blame. Hindsight is a beautiful thing, and I am sure had our people known what these vultures (Bulgar and Serb governments) had in store for us, not a single Macedonian would have crossed their northern frontiers to assist the Serbs and Bulgars in the drive for freedom from the Turks, which the Russians ultimately achieved for them.
In the name of the blood and the sun, the dagger and the gun, Christ protect this soldier, a lion and a Macedonian.
