Hey there,
As you can see i'm new here and to introduce myself a little bit...I'm a 25 years old male living in Vienna, Austria. My origin derives from a small village called Erekovci which locates between Prilep and Bitola, about 20 Km away from the borders or the wonderfully reanimated hellenic state.
Anyways, back to the title of the topic..
Does anyone have an idea where the word "bamuja" comes from? I can't think of any english synonom for it, it's also hard to explain what "bamuja" actually means. Maybe people in this forum who've got their origin from the same area could help me out because i'm very curious about it. I wonder if it's slavic or not. It's only used in the south of Macedonia, I think, not totally sure though.
Bye for now.
