It appears that for Greeks History is Dogma. New researches and discoveries must be hidden away, just not to disturb your Dogma view on History.

It is true, History has happened, but History is for most of it still unknown to man kind. With discovery of new evidence, the old should be reviewed and put in a new framework, new theory.

That is how it works in real scientific approach.

If you Greeks have problem or are afraid of it, than it is your problem, not ours.

Hey before you Go you racist pig. First and foremost one must keep in mind that the language used by people does not by itself identify their ethnicity. We communicate in English, and we all come from different ethnic backgrounds. South American countries use the Spanish language, (Brazil excluded), and yet, not everyone is Spanish. History is replete with examples where people speak the same language yet identify themselves as ethnically different.

Lets use your example: Mexicans have spanish ancestry from the conquistadors FACT. Brazilians have portugese and other european ancestry FACT. I posted on the MOTW and within a couple posts i was sidelined. I must admit I was pretty disappointed by not being able to express myself. Like I said, ppl espescailly the diaspora take a real hardline approach to issues that deal with their home countries. I even made a complaint on that forum about how its ran. I didnt want it to turn into another maknews site which by far is the worst in censhorship.

i speak a language that has been spoken by my ancestors. That in itself is way more than most other nationalities can claim.

Greeks, Chinese, Native Amercians, Persians ( i think ) and some Arameins in Jordan still speak the same language of their ancestors.

We have many slavic traditions and yes..i was baptised catholic.
I converted to orthodox at a later age. Most ppl with greek ancestry tend to gravitate to the greek side. Espescially when your father is one.

Listen, I cant break down your comments but all i have to say is that if you like to debate with an open mind. Then you can consider me one of those that will debate without negating how you feel about yourself.

Like i said, we probably can be the best of allies if the politicians on both sides left aside their nationalistic tendencies. I used to hate turks..but after living in Greece and going to Turkey for business and getting to know them i like them now. My opinion of them has changed dramatically for the better. Most greeks here actually have no resentment against turks. The change happened within a span of 10 yrs due to positive policies that have been implemented...
